Chapter 13

I know its short and the last one was a cliff-hanger but it was worth it. This one is shorter, sorry :p. I am trying to update this more so stick with me. A tear falls down my cheek as John passes Charlie over to Cara. He looks at me, "Amy, I....."

"Again its proved where your loyalties lie." He looks at me.

"That was a test."

"Yeah and now I know. Charlie, teleport." He lands in my arms. "I wanted to see who you trusted."

"Amy, I am doing this to protect him."

"Charlie can't get hurt, I am protecting him." Morgan comes over as more tears fall. She tells me to come with her and I do. She takes me to her room.

She says, "I'm sorry sweety. Are you alright?"

"No, I'm even more confused than ever."

"Do you want to take Charlie tomorrow?"

"Yeah."

"Then do it. Your a mum and your not a child anymore. You can decisions for yourself but I will warn you that the consequences are yours as well."

"What do you? What could happen?"

"I didn't mean with your dad, I mean with John and the rest of them here."

"Honestly, I can believe he did that. I thought he had finally trusted me but he doesn't. It's obvious he is in love with Cara."

"He does love you."

"I don't know anymore."

John's POV

She wouldn't let me speak. I was doing it to protect her and Charlie. I love her. I don't know how I feel about Cara.

I stand outside Morgan's room. When she says about tomorrow, I realise I can't let her do this. Why doesn't Morgan tell her its a bad idea? She doesn't know if I love her anymore.

I go to the office. "Amy is taking Charlie to Jedikiah tomorrow."

Cara says "We need to stop her. Why wont she listen?"

Stephen says "I understand her wanting Jedikiah to meet him grandson but its too dangerous."

"She wont listen to me."

Tim says, "Amy is correct."

Cara says "what?"

"Amy needs to see if Jedikiah can be trusted. He is her father after all."

He is and I suppose if I had a dad then I would want them to see my children. Getting off topic. "Look, what are we going to do?"

Irene says "Let her go but a few of us will monitor. We have people Amy hasn't met before. They could go undercover, keep an eye on them and if things go wrong then teleport them out."

Russell says, "Irene your a genius."

Stephen says, "We need to keep up the pretence that this isn't happening."

We all agree and I have the feeling that this isn't enough.

Amy's POV

I go to the office and put Charlie in his cot. He sleeps quietly. Someone comes in and I jump up. John says "Relax."
