Summer Surprise

You were at the airport saying goodbye to your best friend. Daniel and you have been friends since kindergarten. And now he was off to LA to work on his music career. You were always there and always will be there to support him. You were there the first time he sang on stage, American idol and now in a band. You hugged him tight and he hugged you tighter. He kissed your forehead and pulled away. "I'll miss u shortie" he smiles and gives your hand a squeeze. "Just promise me you won't forget about me" he kisses your hand. "I would never forget about you" he hugs you one last time and then leaves for his flight. "Bye Dani" he turns and waves before leaving. That was one of your hardest goodbyes. That was a year ago. Daniel and you have talked almost everyday since. Today you were boarding a flight to LA to surprise him. You talked to David and planned everything out. You were going to stay with the boys for the whole summer. You took an Uber to the address and were amazed at how big the house was. "Wow" you grab your bags and knock in the door. A blonde guy opened it and looked at you weird. "Hey..can I-" you see Daniel drop his phone on the couch and run. "Y/N!!! OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He hugs you and you hug him tight. "Oh...so you're Y/n" Blondie smirks. You give Daniel a questionable look. "Come in" he takes your bags and you sit down in the living room. Daniel calls everyone downstairs and you see a guy with Rosy Cheeks walk down. He goes wide eyed. "Hey" he smiles.

"Hey i'm Y/n" you smile. "My best friend from back home" Daniel has the biggest smile on his face. "You were right Daniel she is gorgeous" a guy with curly hair said. "Shut up poodle" everyone laughs. "That's Jack, Corbyn, Jonah and Zach" you smile when you see Zach. He was kind of cute. "So you didn't tell us why you came??" Daniel sits beside you. "Well...I arranged with David to stay with you all summer" Daniel jumps up. "Are you serious??" you nod and he hugs you. "OMG!!" you laugh. "You sound like me fangirling" you joke. "Fangirling about me??" you playfully punch his shoulder. "Well we have a spare bedroom across from Daniel's room" You smile and Daniel takes your bags upstairs. "You must be tired so i'll let you rest" you follow him up and hug him. "I'm so excited" he kisses your forehead. "Me too Shortie" you roll your eyes. "Now get some rest" you nod and get all unpacked. After you collapse on the bed and fall asleep. The next morning, you get up and head to the bathroom. You are still half asleep. You hear a door open and look to see Zach standing there in just a towel. He has water droplets on him and his hair's all wet. Your eyes scan his body and go directly to his abs. "Wow" you accidently say out loud. "Y/n!! I'm sorry..I umm..didn't hear you come in.." he bites his lip. "I umm..well i'm definitely awake now" you start to blush. "I will l-let you..umm..d-do your..I'll be downstairs" you quickly go out and head downstairs. "Sleeping beauty is awake" Corbyn smiles. "Wait...what time is it??" you ask and Jack looks up. "11" he says with a mouthful of food. You giggle and you feel arms around your waist. "Hey shortie" you smile and he lets go. He walks over to the fridge and you see Zach come downstairs.

You start to blush. Daniel looks over and gives you a confused look. Zach walks by and winks at you. You bite your lip and Jonah smirks. "What happened between you two??" Zach smiles. "Oh umm..nothing" Daniel walks over and puts his arm around you. "Do you want to go out today??" you smile and nod. "I'll give you a tour of LA" you hug him and head upstairs and get ready. You throw on a white crop top, high waisted blue jeans and your black converse. You curl your hair and head down. "Damn" Jack winks. You shake your head and he laughs. "You do look gorgeous Y/n" Zach smiles. "Thanks Zach" Daniel twirls you and you can't help but smile. "Shortie when did you get so cute??" he jokes and you roll your eyes playfully. "Look who's talking" he puts his hand to his chest. "Ouch that hurt" (I bet you can picture the exact voice he uses *winks*) "Shall we??" you take his arm and both head to the car.

~Zach's POV~

When Y/n came down the stairs, she looked absolutely stunning. I know that Daniel has talked about how much he's liked her for years..but Damn. That girl gets me going. She walks off with Daniel and her butt looks fantastic in those jeans. They compliment her curves so mu- "Zach?! Snap out of it!!" I turn and see the other three laughing. "Someone likes Y/n" Corbyn laughs. "Yeah and guess who's going to beat the shit out of him for liking his 'best friend'" Jack adds and I roll my eyes. "Come on guys...I might have a chance" Jonah snorts. "Yeah?? I mean maybe??" I cross my arms. "I mean when she walked in on my this morning she didn't complain" they all go wide eyed. "Daniel is going to kill you" Corbyn looks worried. "That's a risk i'm willing to take" I stand up and head to the music room. I'll show them.
