I glance over to Y/n and her boyfriend. I have liked her for a few months now. She told me she liked me too but then goes and gets a boyfriend. He spoils her with gifts and dates. I remember one time he came to her work just to give her flowers. All I could think was 'I should be the one spoiling her, giving her flowers and gifts' I sigh and walk out of the movie theatre. My heart couldn't handle it anymore. I was glad she was happy...but I want her to be happy with me. "Daniel??" I jump and turn to see Y/n and her boyfriend. "James" he smiles. I tilt my head at Y/n. She looks down clearly knowing why I looked at her. "Anyway, how have you been Dani??" she smiles. I couldn't take it anymore. "You said you needed to time" she bites her lip. "I didn't realize he was your time" I glare at him. "Chill dude" James puts his arm around Y/n. "Daniel please listen-" I shake my head. "If you were trying to break my heart it's working" I turn and leave her standing there. "Dani.." she mumbles and I turn. "Please don't make this harder for me..." I walk out and head home. That should have been me.
