Today was the day. Your first day of University. You were there to get your bachelors degree in science. You were staying with your older brother Jonah and his bandmates. You were a year younger then Jonah. As he pursued his dream in music you really wanted to be an animal-assisted therapist. So you needed all your animal science. You already got your masters in Art. I mean you were a really smart kid. "Hey babe" Chase kisses you. You smile and kiss him back. You have been dating Chase for a year now. It was super serious and you couldn't be happier. "I have to work so see you soon" you fake smile. "oh..ok. love you" he waves and leaves. You shake it off and head to your class. The first day was stressful and boring. You were so excited to shower, relax and re-watch Pretty Little Liars. "How was my baby sisters first day??" Jonah ruffles your hair. "Ugh. Boring like normal and I am not a baby" you roll your eyes. "She is grown up Jonah" Daniel looks up and takes another bite of his watermelon. You grab a spoon and join him. "Thanks Dani" he smiles and Jonah chuckles. "You two crack me up" You and Daniel both look at each other. His gorgeous blue eyes made you smile. "Anyway I have a date with Katlyn. See ya" he smiles and leaves. Katlyn and him were the cutest couple ever. They have been dating since he first moved to LA. They ran into each other at the coffee shop and clicked instantly. You were happy for him. "So what are you up to??" Daniel asks and you smile. "PLL Marathon" he smiles. "im in" you both jump on the couch and you press play. That's one thing that you liked about Daniel. You would always cuddle and watch TV together.

You snuggle into Daniel's chest and close your eyes. *Ring* You jump up startled. Daniel chuckles. "Ugh..Hello" you answer your phone. "He-y Ba-by *Hiccup*" You sigh. "Chase are you drunk??" Daniel looks at you. "You should *Hiccup* Come to my pla-ce and we can have se-*Hiccup*" You were beyond annoyed. "Chase what the hell is wrong with you?! You told me you would stop drinking!!" Daniel puts his hand on your shoulder and gives you a worried look. "You *Hiccup* are n-no fun" You roll your eyes and hear a voice in the background. "Baby..come back to bed. I am ready for round two" a tear rolls down your face. "Is that a girl?! Are you cheating on-" You look at your phone. "He hung up on me!!" Daniel pulls you in for a hug and you start sobbing. "I knew this would happen...but my stupid self-thought he could change" You pull away and Daniel gives you apologetic eyes. "Not all guys are dicks. You just have to take a break and step forward. Work on your career and forget about guys for a while" You smile and kiss his cheek. "What would I do without you Seavey" he hugs you and you rest your head on his chest. He kisses your forehead. "Just get some rest and we will figure it out tomorrow" You close your eyes and soon drift off.

~Daniel's POV~

I was there to comfort Y/n every time Chase messed up...which was normally a lot. Why doesn't she just leave him?! There are way better guys out there for her...like me. I hear slight snores coming from her and a smile instantly appears on my face. I mean who wouldn't fall for her. She was gorgeous, smart, funny and when I say something stupid the look she gives me is adorable. I started having feelings for her a month after she moved in. I am not really sure how Jonah would respond but it is a risk I am willing to take. I will always be there and protect her. Even if she isn't mine...I hope she will realize one day that I am that guy.

~End Of Daniel's POV~

"Morning sleeping beauty" you wake up to Jonah's face right in yours. "AHH!!" you scream and almost fall off the couch. But two muscular arms hold you up and you look over to a confused half asleep Daniel. "Wh-What happened?!" he slowly opens his eyes and you can't help but chuckle at his cute bed head. You brush his hair with your fingers and fix it. "There" you smile. "Come on lovebirds up" Jonah walks away and you both look at each other confused. Then you realize that Daniel has his arms wrapped around your waist holding you up so you don't fall off the couch. "Err" he slowly sets you down and you smile at him before walking to your room and getting dressed. You only had classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays which was nice. "Where are we going??" you ask yawning. "Out for your 5 month anniversary in LA" you blink a few times and look at all the guys. "Wow..Time goes fast" You giggle and head out with them. It was nice to get out and hang out with all of them. Once you got back you went to your room and found Chase sitting on your bed. You go wide-eyed. "What are you doing here??" he stands up. "Look Y/n" you sit beside him. "I came to break up with you. Because I can't keep pretending to love you" You can feel tears. "P-Pretend?!" he nods. "You were just a dare and I mean you never actually would sleep with me so I don't understand why I kept up with it for so long" You slap him as hard as you can. "Get out" he regains his balance. "Look I-" "Get out right now!! I NEVER want to see you EVER again!!" you point to the door. "Look I mean if you ever want to-" "NOW!!" he rolls his eyes. "Whatever. Elise is way better" as soon as he leaves you drop to the ground. Why did you hold onto him for so long?? You thought you could work it out but he was just a stupid drunk..."Y/n??" you look up and blink a few times but it's no use. Your tears are making your vision too blurry. "Princess" you feel arms wrap around you and you lean your head on his shoulder. You smell his cologne and knew right away it was Daniel.
