"Whoa there little guy" August picks up Alaric. "But Daddy" Alaric squirms and you can't help but laugh. "Alaric you need sunscreen" he rolls his eyes and you put some on his face. August looks at you. "I think someone wants to go in the ocean" Alaric goes wide-eyed. "Dad No!!" August starts running to the water. "Mommy help!!!" You chase after them and August stops as he stands knees deep in the water. "Put me down!!" Alaric demands. "You sure about that??" August raises an eyebrow and he sets Alaric in the water. You push August and he falls, which causes you all to laugh. "That's it" August chases after you. He picks you up from behind and spins you around. He sets you down. "No!!! Leave mommy alone!!" Alaric grabs August's shirt and tugs at it. You laugh and look at August. "Who's up for a shoulder ride??" He asks and Alaric jumps up and down. August picks up Alaric and puts him on his shoulders. He runs around and Alaric puts his arms out pretending he's an airplane. You smile and sit down on the towel. How did you get so lucky to get a guy like August?? He was the love of your life and you wouldn't trade it for the world.
