"Just breath Princess" Daniel says trying to comfort you. "I am trying!!" you snap back and push. Being in labour sucked. You squeeze Daniel's hand. You can see his hand turning purple but that was the least of your concern. "Almost there just one more big push and-" the doctor gets cut off by a baby cry. "It's a girl" the doctor smiles and takes the baby over to the other side of the room. Daniel kisses your forehead, then rests his head on yours. "Sorry" you let go of his hand. "You have a tight grip" he chuckles and you look up at him. "I love you" you say as he puts his hand on your leg. "I love you more" he smiles. "Would you like to meet your daughter??" the nurse asks and you nod. You hold her in your arms and a tear rolls down your cheek. "Hey beautiful baby girl" you rock her and look up to see Daniel getting emotional. "We made that" he kisses you. She opens her eyes and you smile bigger. "She has your eyes Dani" you hold her closer. "And your smile" Daniel adds. "What are we going to name her??" you ask. "Skylar" Daniel looks at you. "Skylar Seavey" he nods and you smile. "Hey little Skylar" you kiss the top of her head and hand her to Daniel. He rocks her and you could see how happy he was. Together you made a beautiful daughter. You were excited to see what the future holds.
