Chapter 8

Lisa's POV
Today is the funeral, I have been dreading this. All of this seems unreal to me. Kids and I were the first ones there. I had Lincoln in my arms which he did not understand anything that was  going on and Emerson came up to the Casket with a picture she drew and spoked up
"I love you daddy" She said as she put it in the Casket and I just hugged her and the next thing I know Aaron's uncle and sister came and his uncle came and spoked to Lincoln "How are you young man?" He said to him and took him and his sister just hugged me really tight and I whispered in her ear
"I just want to let you know, no matter what, I am always here for you day or night" I said and she took a breath
"Thank you" She said and they were looking at the Casket and I honestly could hardly look at it. My parents came and my spoked up
"I'm proud of you sweetheart" She said and I took a breath
"Thanks" I said and she wrapped her arms around and kissed my cheek. I love my mom so much. My siblings came up and hugged, Aaron's Co workers came, and even Remy came up and gave me a hug and she looked at the Casket
"I can't believe it" She said and I took a breath and she spoked up
"Are you okay?" She asked and I took a breath
"I'm hanging in there" I said and Dani came up with Adalyn
"She wanted momma" She said and I reached my arms out
"Come here baby" I said and I had Adalyn in my arms and I kissed her cheek which she is tired I can tell. I needed to get some fresh air so I decided to give Adalyn to my mom and  walk outside and I heard Katherine opened the door
"Hey are you" and I cut her off
"Okay?" I said and spoked up
"What do you think?" I said crappy and I spoked up
"Katherine I'm sorry I'm just" I said and she cut me off and just gave me a tight hug and I started crying
"I feel like it's not going to get better! Like at all" I said and she took a breath
"Well I'm not going to say I understand because I obviously don't, but Lisa you should be so proud of yourself right now, being a single mom and keeping yourself together with all this? Lisa you have no idea of how I admire you right now" She said and she spoked up again
"I don't know what is going to happen, but I do know you're going to do amazing with your three kids and I know that for sure!" She said and I smirked
"Thanks Katherine" I said as I hugged once more and I spoked up
"Better get back in there" I said as we both walk back in
