Chapter 13

Lisa's POV

I was just making kids lunch as they were playing and my phone went off and it was a random number
"Hello?" I answered and the male voice spoked up
"Yes is this Lisa?" He said and I took a breath
"This is her" I said and he spoked up
"Hey this is doctor Watts" He said and I made a face
"Excuse me?" I said chuckling and he laughed
"Oh sorry, Tanner, the one who gave Lincoln the shots" He said and I took a breath
"Oh hey" I said and he spoked up
"Listen, I know this is weird and you are more then welcome to say no" He said and I kinda chuckled
"What is it?" I asked and he spoked up
"I was wondering if you want to have dinner tonight?" He asked and I spoked up
"How did you get my number actually?" I asked and he spoked up
"Haha well, this is going to make me sound bad but I couldn't get you off my mind after you left so I got into charts and found it" he said and I took a breath
"Oh okay" I said and he spoked up
"So what is it?" He asked and I took a breath
"Well here's the thing, I'll need a babysitter and it's kinda last minute for a saturday" I said trying to make a excuse and also telling the truth at the same time and he spoked up
"Oh, well I understand, I'll see you around" He said and he hung up and then I heard a knock on the door and it was Christina
"Hey" I said and she smiled
"What's up?" She said and I took a breath
"Making kids lunch" I said as I was making their plates and she nodded
"Oh fun" She said and I chuckled
"You know it" I said and she smiled
"So how are you?" She asked and I took a breath
"Christina I really appreciate you checking on me and everything but I'm doing okay honestly" I said and she nodded
"Okay, we just love you" She said and I smiled
"And I love you guys too" I said and I spoked up
"So I got something to say" I said and she looked at me
"So I took Lincoln to the doctor the other day for his shots, and it was his new doctor and found out he was divorced and I told him about Aaron" I said and she gave me a look
"And?" She asked and I took a breath
"He called me right before you came and asked me to dinner" I said and she gave a look
"Did you say yes?" She asked and I shook my head
"No" I said and she gave a look
"Why?" She asked and I took a breath
"Well I panicked for one thing and also I will need to find a babysitter" I said and she made a face
"I can babysit" She said and I made a face
"But" I said and she cut me off
"Lisa, do you seriously think you're not ready" She asked and I spoked up
"It's not that honestly, I feel like I won't know that for sure until I do but I can't help think about how Aaron would feel? Like would he be mad? Happy? Or what?" I said and she took a breath and spoked up
"Lisa, I loved and adored Aaron, and he loved you, but I truly think he would be happy because I know he wouldn't want you to be alone" She said and I took a breath and she spoked up
"And maybe Aaron sent you this guy to take care of you just like he would"
