Chapter 15

Lisa's POV
Tanner and I were just talking and basically learning more about each other. I checked the time and spoked up
"Well I'm sorry, but I have to go pick up my kids and give them their baths and everything" I said and he smiled as we stood up
"Okay" He said and I went to pull out my wallet to pay for my dinner and he stopped me
"No I got it" he said and I gave him a look
"Are you sure? I would hate" I said and he cut me off
"I promise it's fine" He said and I nodded and we both walked out to our cars
"Well I'll see you around" I said and he smiled
"Have a good night Lisa" He said as he went to his car and I got in my car and drove over to Christina's house and I knocked and Nick answered it
"Hey Lisa" He said letting me in and I walked in and saw Lincoln playing with their son Rylan and he smiled at me
"Momma" He said as he got up and ran to me
"Hey little man" I said and I walked in the living room and saw Emerson and she came up and hugged me
"Hey" I said as I kissed her cheek and Christina came up with Adalyn and she smiled as she saw me and hugged me as well and I spoked up
"You guys act like you haven't seen me in ever" I said chuckling and Christina spoked up
"They love their mommy" She said and I smiled and she spoked up
"So how did it go?" She asked and I took a breath
"It went well actually" I said and she smiled
"Good I'm glad you're getting out" She said and I smiled and I looked at the kids
"Are you guys ready to go home?" I asked and they all nodded and I spoked up
"Give aunt Chrissy and uncle Nick hugs" I said and Emerson and Adalyn did and Lincoln refused too, he literally shook his head and hugged me and we went outside so I could put him in his carseat as the girls got in theirs and I looked at her
"So thank you for watching them I hope they were good" I said and she nodded
"They were but Emerson was really quiet and I'm talking like she just sat on my couch the whole time" She said and I looked in the car and she was just looking out the window and I spoked up
"She misses her daddy" I said and spoked up
"She hasn't been sleeping well or anything ether like night terrors, so I've been thinking about putting her in therapy" I said and she took a breath
"That could help" She said and I took a breath
"I hope so, it like she afraid for me to leave her sight because she afraid something is going to happen to me" I said and she nodded
"Could be really good for her" She said and I nodded
