Chapter 11

Lisa's POV
I had to take Lincoln to a doctor's appointment today for a check up and he has to get shots and everything so Emerson and Adalyn are with my mom. We were waiting on the doctor and Lincoln was playing with the toys and then he walked up to a random guy and the guy noticed and smiled at him and I spoked up
"Lincoln!" I said and I looked at him
"I'm sorry about that" I said and he smiled and spoked up
"No problem! He's cute" He said with a smile and I spoked up
"Thanks!" I said with a small smile  and the nurse called for Lincoln and I lifted him up
"Let's go" I said and we went and they took his weight and everything and they said so far he is looking good and we went inside and end up waiting on the doctor came and it was a different doctor then before and he came in and smiled
"Hey there" He said and I smiled
"Hello" I said and he looked at Lincoln
"How are you doing little man?" He asked him and Lincoln got shy and hugged me and I chuckled and the doctor smiled
"Mommas boy?" He asked and I nodded
"Ohhh yes" I said chuckling and he got his stuff out to give Lincoln the shots and he also had a stuff bear and gave it to him and spoked up
"So Lincoln this my partner "Paws" and he helps people so when I say give him a good squeeze do it okay?" He said and Lincoln looked at me and I smiled and he went to Lincoln a shot and he spoked up
"Oh I know it" he said and he put the band aid on and he gave him two more after that and the doctor  spoked up
"Dude you did incredible!" He said and he went to give him a high five and Lincoln smiled and gave him one back and the doctor gave him a sucker and I smiled
"Wow look at that!" I said and Lincoln smiled and I kissed his cheek and I looked at him
"The doctors usually never made him comfortable like that, they usually just give it to him" I said and he smiled
"The bear always help" He said and I smiled and I spoked up
"Do you have any kids?" I asked and he shook his head
"No I don't actually, just divorced" He said and I nodded
"Oh okay" I said and he spoked up
"So is he your only kid?" He asked and I shook my head
"No, he's actually my youngest, I have two girls as well" I said and he nodded and smiled
"My ex wife wasn't able to have kids so I never had the chance to have one" I said and I nodded
"I'm sorry to hear that" I said and he spoked up
"It's okay, so what about you? Divorced? Married?" He asked and I spoked up
"My husband actually died in a car accident last year" I admitted and he gave a sympathic look
"Sorry to hear that" He said and I nodded
"Yeah" I said and he took a breath
"Well Lincoln is all ready to go" He said and I smiled
"Yay let's go" I said to Lincoln  and he spoked up
"My name is Tanner by the way" He said and I spoked up
