Never Let Go (A Gay Furry story)

I walk along Dale's side happily. "I've been thinking about our relationship, mostly because you aren't open with it as much as I am now. I know you're seen like Mr. Popular at school and outside of it as well but popularity can only take you so far" I pick up some rocks from the floor as I toss them ahead of me while we continue our walk. "Hell once you're done with highschool nobody is gonna really care about you? That's usually how it happens unless it turns out to be one of those things in life where the furs you talk to now will still talk to you in the far future" I let out everything that was on my mind, I look over to Dale who's been walking with me still holding my paw just this time a bit more tight.

"Felix... I know this already, I know about all the stupid popularity shit that I do in high school will rarely have any meaning in the real world! I just want to have fun in my life! I don't want to be some realist" Dale sighs looking far out on the trail that was made by furs who have walked through many times to make a natural trail as the grass is flattened . "Just... Felix... how about we just stop talking about all this stupid stuff? I kinda feel like we always resort to something like this"

I make sure to not let go of Dale's hand. "Okay Dale, I'm sorry for being such an ass like this, just I get tired of keeping our relationship a secret. Wouldn't you get tired?" Dale picks me up carrying me in a bridal style type of way. "Of course I'm tired of keeping our love to each other a secret from others, the only thing I'm frightened of is the change that'll lead to me coming out"

"Okay and what's gonna happen? Teasing? Being made fun of? That stuff isn't gonna be new to me but I'm sure it would be to you and I'm even more sure that all those issues will eat you whole wouldn't it?" I sigh kicking some twigs that are on the ground. "Let's just get rid of our problems and stress out here like a detox ya know" Dale turns to face me giving me his quirky smile.

"You damn cute dragon! I can't ever be mad at someone like you. I do have to apologize for always bringing up that popularity shit just its kinda been drilled into my mind" I pick up one of the twigs I have been kicking around as I throw it at Dale. "Come and chase me you baddy!" I giggle as Dale runs after me while we get farther in on the trail. "You're a wolf! How the hell am I gonna compete with you? I was technically made to fly more than run after you but I'll manage with you" Dale keep trying to chase me until I wait for you on top of a hill.

"Okay..." Dale huffs out being tired. "You won this one but it's not like it matters anymore because..." Dale pauses as I look at him confused and he grabs me. " I got ya! HA! No one can ever hear you from here! You'll die and suffer a painful death out here" Dale laughs evilly until I just his cheek a lick. "ACK! Gross, Gross. Felix why did you have to do that?" Dale tries to rub off the slobber that I left onto his cheek.

"Well maybe if you didn't make me feel so threatened then I wouldn't had to have resulted to that licking! I'm sure that if you were in some sort of danger then like you would breath out dat fire in dem lungs or wherever it is stored" I poke his chest looking into his shiny eyes. "Gotta admit spending my time out here has been the best time ever! This is gonna be marked down in my book of our relationship one of the best times we'll have ever" I hold you hand with my paw as we keep on walking. "Actually I think we are getting much more closer now, look over there!" Dale points a bit more higher up on what looks like a mountain. "We are flying down! I am not gonna walk back down all that, sound fair enough for you?" Dale thinks for a few seconds. "I think I should fly down? Since you could just easily go on all fours and run down? Right? I mean some furs could go on all fours but they do tell me that it hurts"

"Er... Okay yea that's true but would you really like to see me struggle? Wait hold up you're gonna make your very own boyfriend struggle? Well aren't you truly the best?" I joke around smiling as I stick out my tongue. "Felix, you know that I am joking as well right? I would never ever leave you alone like that" Dale brings me close as we have a few more climbs up to get to Dale's mystical spot.

"How did you even find this spot? I've been meaning to ask you 'cause like it's not like you magically came across this place, unless you did?" We get to a more flatter surface as I lay myself on the ground. "Phew! Haven't walked this much in years! Although tell meh!" I sit up enough to make eye contact. "I was told about this place by a friend, he wanted to come here but two things stopped him from ever coming here to this spot. One was that he didn't have a car, second thing is that he didn't want to go alone so we both went and just had such an amazing time and NO! We didn't kiss or anything, he's like super straight but he didn't care when I told him about me"

"Well that's like pretty cute but what is so amazing about this spot that you would want me to see?" I stand up peering over your shoulder to see such an astonishing sight. "Woah... Okay... I doubted you at first but this is fucking amazing! SO damn pretty" I lean to Dale's shoulder.
