So after the first part of this so many people wanted it to be turned into a story so I have completely changed this part so that if people still want it turned into a story I will do that in the new year.
She can feel her heart pounding in her chest as she glances around the room containing over four hundred people, some she knows and others she doesn't. She takes a deep breath and attempts to calm herself down but her heart only beats faster as she spots the one person she hoped to avoid making his way towards her. It's been two years since she last seen him, two years since her heart broke into a thousand pieces.
'Demi...' He says softly placing his hand on her shoulder.
'Nick.' She replies shrugging his hand away.
'It's been a while.' He says and she nods her head.
'Yep.' She replies.
'How are you?' He asks.
'Fine.' She replies causing him to sigh.
'Do we really have to be like this, Demi?' He asks.
'Like what? Like you walked away from me because as far as I remember you did.' She replies and he shakes his head. Pulling out a chair he sits down beside her and reaches for her hand which she quickly pulls away.
'It wasn't like that. I did what I did because I wanted to save our friendship.' He says.
'Well you did the opposite. I'm not going to pretend we're friends because we're not and I don't know if we can ever be friends again, Nick.' She replies.
'Demi, please? You were one of my best friends.' He says.
'That's bullshit, Nick. I would never have treated you the way you treated me. I'm not doing this so either you leave me alone or I leave right now and you can explain to Joe why I'm not here.' She says.
'I'm not letting this go, Demi. It might not be today, might not be tomorrow but we will talk. We need to talk.' He replies and she shakes her head.
'No, no we don't, Nick. Do you know when we needed to talk? The day I came to your house to tell you I was pregnant with your baby and found you in bed with that tart. We also needed to talk the day after when I came to your house and you told me you had to run off because you were late. There was also that time a week later when you made some other bullshit excuse but I think we'll stop there. So no, we won't talk because at the moment in time even looking at you makes me want to throw up.' She says as his eyes go wide as he glances down at her stomach.
'Y-You were pregnant with my baby?' He asks and she nods her head.
'I had a right to know.' He says.
'I tried to tell you, numerous times actually.' She replies standing up.
'Where are you going? We need to talk.' He says.
'Like I said, no we don't. I'm done, Nick.' She replies. She grabs her jacket and quickly leaves the hotel, not giving him enough time to follow her as she climbs into her car and begins to drive.

'What did you say to Demi?' Joe asks as he makes his way over to his brother after watching Demi storm out.'Nothing. We were just talking.' Nick replies and Joe shakes his head.
'You promised me you'd leave her alone tonight, for one night you'd let her just be.' Joe says causing Nick to sigh.
'She was pregnant with my baby...' Nick says quietly.
'What?' Joe asks and Nick nods his head.
'Apparently she was coming to tell me she was pregnant when she caught me in bed with Sarah.' Nick replies.
'You are an idiot, Nick.' Joe says.
______
'Mama, home early...' A little voice says as Demi hears the pitter patter of tiny feet making their way towards her.
'I missed my baby girl too much... Have you had fun with Auntie Marissa?' Demi asks lifting the little girl into her arms as she nods head.
'What you doing back? I thought you were going to go have fun.' Marissa says making her way out of the kitchen.
'Nick was doing my head in.' Demi replies making her way over to Marissa who smiles.
'If you're going to be in Joe's life you're going to need to deal with Nick, Demi... He is Joe's little brother.' Marissa says.
'I know I just- I hate that I still love him. After all the time, after everything I would drop everything for him, Marissa.' Demi admits shaking her head.
'I know you would but if he doesn't feel the same then you have to move on. I know that's easier said than done but you can't keep putting yourself through this. You deserve so much better.' Marissa says.
'What if I don't though? What if I'm not supposed to be with anyone else? What if it's just him?' Demi asks.
'You deserve someone who will treat you like a queen and you will find him whether it's in a year or in five years; you'll find him.' Marissa replies.
'We'll see.' Demi says adjusting the little girl on her hip. Using her free hand she brushes her fingers through the little girl's curls as she rests her head against her shoulder.
