'Are you going to the farm today with nanny?' Demi asks brushing Connie's hair as the little girl sits on a chair.
'Sheep?' Connie asks and Demi nods her head.
'You'll probably see some sheep.' Demi replies smiling.
'Pop pop come?' Connie asks.
'I don't know, baby girl. We'll just need to wait and see won't we?' Demi replies fixing Connie's hair into a bobble.
'Momma having baby?' Connie asks turning around in Demi's arms and resting her hand on Demi's stomach.
'Hopefully not today, Coco. We've got our countdown remember. Shall we go see what it says?' Demi asks and Connie nods her head. Standing up, Demi lifts Connie onto her hip and makes her way into the kitchen where a little wooden sign is hanging on the wall.
'This says six weeks until baby.' Demi says as Wilmer makes his way into the kitchen.
'There's my two favourite girls.' He says kissing the top of Demi's head as he wraps his arms around her from behind.
'Dada! I going farm.' Connie squeals.
'Are you? Lucky Coco.' Wilmer says smiling as Demi passes the little girl to him and runs her hand over stomach.
'What are your plans when she's with your mom?' Wilmer asks as Demi leans against the counter.
'I've got some bits to do for the company; orders to send out and things like that.' She replies.
'You need to slow down, Dems. Take a break. You're heavily pregnant and should be resting.' He says.
'I'm hardly doing anything. I'm literally just packing a few items into boxes and sending them out... People love these boxes, I've had so much positive feedback from them.' Demi replies as Wilmer places Connie down on the floor. A little over six months ago, Demi started her own affordable monthly subscription box which promotes self-care and aims to help people suffering from mental health conditions.
'Well you will need to take a break soon and when you do I'll be here to help, okay?' He says and she nods her head.
'Okay.' She replies quietly.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
'That'll be my mom.' Demi says.
_______
'What's in the box this month?' Wilmer asks as Demi glances between her laptop and the pale grey box sitting beside her.
'There's a journal and some coloured pens. A bar of dark chocolate, some herbal tea. Lavendar essential oil to calm you down and orange essential oil to boost your mood. Some fuzzy socks.' Demi replies causing Wilmer to smile.
'Can we go for lunch later?' He asks.
'If I finish these then sure... Do you want to help and then you'll know what to do when you're doing it whilst I look after the baby?' She says.
'Sure.' He replies smiling. Sitting down beside her, he smiles and watches as Demi places some tissue paper in an empty box. He watches her carefully fill the box before covering it all with more tissue and placing a small sticker with an inspirational quote to keep the tissue paper closed.
