'Please be standing for the new Mr and Mrs Valderrama!' Eddie says grinning as he watches his daughter and her newly-wed husband make their way into the crowded room. Glancing around the room Eddie can see just how many people love both his daughter and his new son-in-law and he couldn't be happier for the couple.
'You look beautiful, nena.' Wilmer says softly as they make their way towards the top table.
'Thank you, my love... You don't look so bad yourself.' She replies smiling up at him. Two years after splitting up in 2016 the pair reunited and just ten months later Wilmer proposed; the time apart gave them both a chance to see what life was like without each other and to realise that they really didn't want to live that life.
'That dress is amazing; everything I imagined and more.' He says causing her to smile as she glances down at the figure hugging lace dress.
'I knew as soon as I'd put it on that it was the one.' She replies as they reach the top table. He pulls out her chair and presses his lips against the top of her head before she sits down. They've opted to have the speeches before the meal as it just seemed like a lot less hassle than having them during or afterwards so it's no surprise when Eddie stands up and taps the end of a knife against his glass to gain everyone's attention.
'I want to start by thanking you all for coming out here to celebrate today with us all. Today has been a long time coming as most of you will all know. I knew from the day Demi started talking about Wilmer that he would be the man she spent the rest of her life with. I was obviously apprehensive; she was young and he was much older than her but at the same time she had this glow about her, a genuine smile on her face for the first time in a while. I came into Demi's life when she was young and throughout the years I've seen her ups and I've seen her downs. I remember her being that young girl who just wanted to sing and I remember her being that young girl who just wanted to be loved. Demi has come so far over the years and her mom and I are just so proud of everything you've achieved, sweetheart. You've worked so hard to overcome every struggle, every hurdle to get yourself to the place you are in now.' Eddie says, tears filling his eyes as he glances at Demi.
'When Wilmer came to me just a few short months after you two got back together and asked for my permission to propose I didn't even hesitate to say yes. There is no man on this earth that I trust to marry you more than him; I know Wilmer will never hurt you, I know he will never leave you and I know he will always build you back up if you fall. You have done so much for Demi, Wilmer. Dianna and I can't even put into words how grateful we are that you stuck around even when all she done was push you away. You mean the world to our family and we are so glad you are a part of it.' Eddie continues. Reaching over Dianna passes Demi a tissue as tears stream down her cheeks.
'You are positively glowing today, Demi. Walking you down the aisle is a moment I will never forget and I am so happy you finally got your happy ever after. So, I'm sorry for the ridiculous length of this but will you please all raise your glasses to Wilmer and Demi; may their life be filled with joy, happiness and everlasting love.' Eddie says. Standing up Demi instantly wraps her arms around her dad and rests her head on his shoulder.
'I love you.' She says softly as he kisses her cheek.
'I love you too, sweetheart.' He replies.

'Demi will be the first to tell you that I done everything I could to stay away from her when we first met but as you all know that didn't last long. I instantly felt a connection with Demi; there was just something about her that I couldn't ignore. You have 100% made my life better and I never want to be without you. Watching to grow and become the amazing, strong person you are now makes me so proud; I feel so blessed that you allowed me to be there to watch you become stronger.' Wilmer says as Demi bites her bottom lip and dabs her eyes with a tissue.
'I knew from the moment we got back together that I was going to ask you to become my wife, we weren't ready all those years ago but I knew we were both ready now. I want to thank you all for coming today; each and every one of you mean the absolute world to Demi and I which is why we've decided today is the perfect time to let you all in on a little secret...' He continues glancing down at Demi who smiles and nods her head.
'Approximately 28 weeks from now our family will be growing from two to three. Demi and I are over the moon to be expecting our very own little one. It has been the hardest secret we've had to keep but I'm so glad you all know now.' He says causing all the guests to gasp.

'I set out on a narrow way many years ago.'
Demi sings softly into Wilmer's ear as he sways them back and forth of the dance floor. Leaning back slightly he brushes his nose against hers causing her to smile.
'I missed you last night.' He says quietly.
'I missed you too... I tried to sneak out to come over to the house but Marissa caught me.' She replies and he laughs slightly.
'I felt like a naughty school kid trying to work out how I was going to sneak out but I just couldn't sleep without you there.' She says. He leans down to kiss her as she runs her fingers over his hair.
'I love you.' She whispers against his lips feeling his arms tighten around her waist.
'I love you too.' He replies.
'Has today been what you wanted?' He asks.
'Oh it's been perfect; everything I wanted and more.' She replies.
'I'm glad. Are you glad everyone now knows our little secret?' He asks, his hand moving to brush against her stomach.
'Yeah; it feels so much more real now. I know our families knew but now everyone knows it we just don't have to hide anymore.' She replies.
'How long do we have to stay before it's acceptable for us to sneak off upstairs?' He asks moving some hair out of her face.
'A little while longer and then you can have me all to yourself.' She replies resting her head against his chest.
'Can't come quick enough.' He says quietly smiling as he kisses the top of her head.
