Her head lay on his bare chest, following the rise and fall of his breathing. Her fingertips drew circles across his skin, his arm circled around her tight as he held her to his body.

He kissed the top of her head, his other hand smoothing up and down her bare back.

"Lindsey what do we do?"

He held her tighter, breathing in her scent. "I don't know, but I will never let him touch you again. I'll kill him before he even gets near you."

Tears had flooded her eyes, stifling a sob in the back of her throat. "I'm tired of running, tired of living in fear."

"He won't get away with this Stevie."

She pushed her upper body up, their eyes connecting and she leaned forward, pressing her lips against his. His hand came up to smooth her hair away from her face, holding her their as his palm pressed against her cheek.

Things had quickly heated up, Stevie shifting her weight on top of him, her bare breasts rubbing against his chest.

A commotion could be heard outside, the two lovers breaking away. Lindsey gently pushed her off of him, climbing out of bed. He ventured towards the window, peaking out the blinds and his heart race quickened. "He's here."

Stevie's breath caught in her throat. "What?"

She watched as Lindsey tugged on his jeans, tossing her clothes at her. She quickly scrambled from the bed, stumbling as she put her clothes back on. "Lindsey what's going on?"

"The son of a bitch found us." He was pacing, reaching for his gun he'd left on the nightstand.

Tears had flooded her eyes, wrapping her arms around herself. "What do we do?"

He wracked his brain, glancing around the room. Her breath had started to come in quick gasps, anxiety taking over.

Lindsey quickly soothed her, his hands holding her face as he calmed her down. He peered in to her eyes, his thumbs caressing her cheekbones. "I will not let him hurt you."

She nodded. She watched as he walked over to the door, unlocking it.

Her eyes widened. "What are you doing?"

"Trust me."

Stevie hesitantly nodded, Lindsey drawing her face near with his hands and placing a kiss against her lips. He guided her over to the bed, making her sit down.

He hid just behind the door, holding his breath. He glanced over at Stevie, her brown eyes wide with fear.

They heard footsteps, her body physically shaking, her heart stopping when the door knob twisted.

It opened and she felt like she might be sick, coming face to face with the man who'd assaulted hers. His dark eyes peered at her, his lips twisting in to a wicked grin. "Hello Angel."

She was paralyzed, watching as he grew near. He took a step towards her, Lindsey coming out of his hiding spot. He raised his gun, clocking him on a specific spot on the side of his head, the man slumping to the ground unconscious.

Stevie sat frozen, her chest heaving up and down. Everything seemed to go in slow motion, Lindsey's voice pulling her from her daze. "Stevie come on!"

He had his hand outstretched towards her, his eyes frantic. She was pulled out of slow motion, taking his hand and he quickly dragged her from the hotel room, yanking her along the concrete and practically carrying her down the stairs.

He made sure she got in the car, quickly rounding it and hopping in the drivers seat. He shoved the keys in the ignition, swearing when the car stalled.

Stevie's heart stopped seeing the man approach the railings from up above, looking for them. "Lindsey!"

He followed his gaze, swearing as the man came rushing down the staircase.

Lindsey got the car to start, tearing out of the parking lot and heading towards the highway.

Stevie had her head turned, watching as the man got in his van, quickly following them.

        "Lindsey he's coming!"

Lindsey glanced in the rear view mirror, seeing the van hot on their trail. He pressed his foot on the accelerator, speeding up.

The van did the same, Lindsey reaching for his gun. "Stevie take the wheel."

She looked at him wide eyed. "What?"

"Take the wheel!" He ordered her, Stevie quickly leaning over and keeping the steering wheel steady. Lindsey rolled down the window, twisting his upper body out of the car and shooting.

He tried to hit the van's tire, the black car swerving in an attempt to miss his shots.

Lindsey flung back around in his seat, taking back control of the wheel. "Is your seat belt on?"

Stevie quickly dragged the belt across her body, clicking it in the buckle.

Lindsey kept his eyes on the van behind them,  slowing down just a bit. He let the van catch up to them, glancing over to see the man with his gun aimed at them.

Slamming on the breaks, Stevie flew forward, catching herself on the dashboard as the van speed ahead of them.

Lindsey quickly reversed the car, turning it around and speeding the opposite direction.

He drove well over the speed limit, Stevie clinging on to the seat. "Lindsey slow down!" Her heart was racing.

"I've got this!"

He took a sharp corner, his speed decreasing the tiniest bit. He glanced over his shoulder, not seeing the car insight.

Taking a deep breath, his knuckles turned white from his hard grip on the steering wheel, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Lindsey!" He heard her scream, glancing over to see the van speeding towards them on the opposing street.

He tried to speed up, not fast enough as the van clipped the back of his car, sending them spinning.

Stevie was screaming, tears flowing down her face. He tried his hardest to regain control of the car, the van slamming into them again. He swore, trying to put the  breaks on.

There was too much traction, the van ramming in to them once more.

The force of the van had sent them through the railing that blocked the street from a field, the car flipping upside down.
