Bella's P.O.V

"It's a girl!"

Pink smoke starts coming out of the box!

I've never seen Edward jump so high in the air before in my life and the smile on his face is so priceless. It only takes two seconds for him to be tackled by Jasper and Emmett, who grab him and jump up and down with him in a circle. Rosalie and Alice, along with Angela, Mom, Esme and Jessica run to me to hug me. I'm laughing so hard, I've never been so happy to be wrong. Everyone is cheering, pink smoke is invading us.

Edward pushes past Emmett and Jasper and runs to me. I wrap my arms around him, both of us a laughing mess. Edward sweeps me off my feet, just enough to get his hands under my bum to support me. Next thing I know, his lips are on mine. Or mine are on his, there is no way to know. I cup his face between my hands and kiss him then pull away to give him one final peck before we pull away. I ignore the gasps and awws and the what does this mean?! And hug Edward.

Neither of us care. We are insanely happy. It's a girl! Our baby is a girl! Edward and I are hugging so tightly, I'm afraid he might actually squish our daughter out of me. When we pull away, he leans down and kisses my belly.

"I won the bet," he said to me with the biggest smile I've seen on his face.

"Oh shut up," I laugh.

Everyone hugged us in turns. It was kind of overwhelming at one point. Then my dad reached out to me and pulled me into a hug.

"My grandbaby is gonna be a girl," he said.

"She is," I chuckled. "I feel kind of bad for calling her a boy all this time."

Dad pulls away. "Well, maybe next time." Next time? I don't plan on getting drunk and having unprotected sex any time soon. He looks above my head and then at me. "Bella, what's going on between you and Edward?"

"What do you mean?"

He raises an eyebrow. "I might be old, young lady, but I'm not blind nor stupid. Neither is everyone else in this party. I've seen the looks you've given each other, the looks he gives to that low life bastard Jacob-"

"Dad."

"And that kiss wasn't nothing."

"Dad." I pull away and sigh. "Dad, Edward and I are happy with the way things are. We just found out we are having a girl, it was just the moment and all the feelings."

"Yeah, we're here because of a moment and all the feelings as well," he points out.

I sigh. "Daddy, there is nothing other than an unbreakable friendship between me and Edward. Trust me."

Dad smiles. "Darling, it's not me you have to convince. It's yourself and Edward."

"I've also gotten an call from... shit," I groan and close my eyes. Here she goes.

Everyone in the conference room turns to me.

"Bella, are you okay?" Jacob asked.

I raise a hand, still with my eyes closed and whisper, "can you settle down, please?"

"What?" Marcus asks.

"She's talking to her daughter," Jacob explains.

Little Miss Sunshine finally stops moving. I let out a deep breath and open my eyes again. "I apologize. As I was saying, there is this new author that has contacted us. Uhh, I believe Marcus has spoke to him-"

"Her," he points out. "It's a her. I think her book can be very promising."

I shake my head. "A book about an adulterer coming in between several married couples is very promising?"
