Hi guys! This is an important letter and I'd appreciate if you guys took the time to read it.

Over the last couple of months I've been reflecting on the last five years since I joined Wattpad. I first joined thanks to a friend that told me this was a place where I could read fanfiction stories about Twilight. I never thought I'd be writing my own months later, let alone be at the point where I am right now. Many of you thank me for keeping the Twilight stories alive after a decade since the first movie came out. There came a point in the last five years where I forgot who these characters really were. Writing about them in the different stories I've been writing became more than a hobby for me, it became a safe haven.

There came times where I really doubted myself as a writer. Ideas came and went, there was times where I was so close to just giving up, but I didn't. I know there were times where I'd promote a story and then never publish it. Thanks to Wattpad, I discovered a passion I didn't know I had. I like playing with the characters, putting them in different situations and different storylines as many of you have noticed.

However, I feel like it's finally time for me to move onto greater things. I've always wanted to write my own story where I have my own characters in a different genre, but I never did due to fear of putting myself out there. I'm so terrified. But it's something I feel I have to do, as scary as it is.

For those wondering what does this mean, it means that after wrapping up Cross My Heart, This Is Who I Am and The Little Unexpected Things, I'll be publishing my last Twilight fanfiction story, Folktale. Don't worry, I'll also finish Reign, A Chance and for those who have waited long enough, I'll also be finishing Kidnapped. The rest of the stories coming after that will be my own. I also have my own book publishing soon, which I will give more details as the release date is set.

Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has been a great support and amazing readers! If it weren't for you, I don't think I would have made it this far. I hope we all can continue supporting each other for the years to come!

With love and gratitude,

~Joan0324
