Edward's P.O.V
Most would say that the ones on the honeymoon phase should be Emmett and Rosalie. I'll give it to them, they're always on the honeymoon phase in their relationship and it's admirable. I wonder how it will continue now that they are married... but enough of them, because I finally understand the pure bliss. That phase of a relationship where you're heart swells with so much love, where the smile never leaves your face, where you just can't get enough of your partner.
It's been like that for the last two weeks. I'm surprised Alice and Jasper have not noticed... but then again, we've rarely seen them since the wedding. They'll kill us when they find out.
I walk out of our bedroom to find Bella fixing breakfast and Ella laying in bassinet by the kitchen. Bella greets me with a kiss as I take Ella out of the bassinet and rain her with kisses.
"How are my girls this morning?" I hold Ella with one arm and with the other I help Bella set the table.
"Very good. Ella woke up early this morning, she's been fed and changed and all ready for her day with Daddy."
Bella leans in and pecks me on the lips and I would have returned the kiss, if it hadn't been from what she said.
"Day with Daddy? Where are you going?"
I put Ella back on her bassinet and take out everything we need to make coffee. Bella takes the pan with eggs and bacon to the table along with the pancakes. She turns to me and shrugs.
"I know we have our two week streak of not going anywhere without each other, but Alice needs me." She walks up to me and wraps her arms around my shoulders. "Alice just had her first ultrasound done and she wants me to see it, check if her baby doesn't have two heads, horns and a tail. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it did considering it's the spawn of your sister. But no matter how much Dr. Greene assured her everything was okay, she wants my opinion on it."
"Wait, my sister is pregnant?" What the fuck?
"You didn't notice?" Bella laughs.
"How the fuck was I supposed to notice?"
"Babe, she has not drank a single drop of wine in weeks, not even at Emmett's wedding."
That's true, my sister would never pass on the opportunity of a glass of wine. Then again, I was too busy being mad about the whole Jacob and Bella thing to even notice my sister was drinking water rather than any form of booze. Jesus! I'm going to be an uncle... I'm happy for them... but I'm more happy for myself since I've just got my first babe from Bella.
"Did you just call me Babe?"
Bella smiles. "You like it?"
"I almost want you to stop calling me by my real name." I lean in and kiss her lips. "From now on, my name is no longer Edward."
Bella laughs. "Oh really?"
"Yes. You are not allowed to ever call me Edward unless you're pissed at me."
Bella hums, butting her lower lip. "So if I call you Edward, you will not respond?"
"Nope." Ella whines from her bassinet, angry at the lack of attention. "Our baby needs attention." I scoop Bella in my arms, causing her to laugh out loud and carry her to the table.

"The hell is the matter with you?"
I look at Jasper. "What do you mean?"
Jasper doesn't respond to my question, instead he stares at me with narrowing eyes and his eyebrows scrunched together. Almost accusing me of something. It odds me out. I look down at Ella on my lap who is happy sucking on her pacifier and back at Jasper, who tilts his head to the side, trying to figure me out like a riddle. Honestly, I don't know where this is coming from. As soon as Alice picked Bella and dropped off Jasper, all we've been doing is talk, drink beers and watch the new episode of Mayans. This is coming out of the blue.
