"What the hell Jess!" Jake yelled, pulling Carrie away from the shattered bits of glass.

"Why wouldn't you open the door to me," I slurred. Carried his behind Jake and my heart melted. "It's OK Carrie, Jessy won't hurt you," she came from behind Jake and slowly took a step towards me.

"Why you been so late?" she asked.

"Just had to clear my head. I'm back now though, you want me to read you a story?"

She nodded and I budged past Jake. Carries bed was a mattress on the floor. I shared a bed with Jake and Carrie's mattress was at the end of it. The sooner we move out the better.

I pulled the covers up to her neck and picked out her favourite book. Lion King. "Start over," she insisted. I was already have way through the book, but I did as she asked. I flipped the page back to the beginning and started again.

I waited until Carrie fell asleep until I stopped reading. I put the book next to the mattress and sat up on my bed. Jake had gone downstairs and didn't come back up. Could he not tell I'm drunk? I was slightly better now, but still wasn't fully sober. I took off my clothes and got into one of Jake's t-shirts and a pair of my shorts.

"Why did you do that Jess?" I heard from behind me. I turned to face Jake as she came in with a glass of water and a milkshake. He handed me the glass of water and said "Drink up,"

I took a sip and replied. "You know that was my first time drinking Jake, I just had a bit too much,"

"You technically cheated on me Jess..."

"Well you never do anything with me, so I wanted a bit of fun," I giggled.

"By cheating on me! You could of just asked, and we could of taken our relationship a bit further,"

"You mean that?" I asked.

"Yeah, of course, but how can I trust you again now?"

I took another gulp of water and lay back on the pillow. "Can we do it now?"

"No. You don't deserve it at the moment, and plus... Carrie is in the room,"

I sighed and rolled over so my back was towards him. "Night!"

I felt him roll away from me, so that his back was facing me too. This defiantly wasn't how my night was planned out. Drinking too much, kissing Si, and now sleeping awkwardly in bed.

I woke up half way through the night and saw that Jake had put a few pieces of wood and pillows over the smashed window. I rolled over and nudged over to Jake. "What are you doing?" he asked, still half asleep.

"I want it now!" I commanded. I ran a hand up his back but he moved uncomfortably.

"No."

"No?" I asked.

"Yes... no! Now go to sleep."

"You don't love me do you?" I said, getting upset.

"Good night Jess." was all he said, then I heard snoring, which could only mean he went back to sleep.

He so doesn't love me no more. I meant what I said earlier. The quicker I move out... the better for us all!
