Kath! I'm here outside your IT lect hall. Meet me after your class :)
Because of Quen's pangungulit, here, accomplice nya na ko sa plano nya. Wala pa naman akong class kaya talagang hindi ko sya mahindian. One more thing, ang sweet nya kasi eh - not to me though but to my sister. Kaya nakakatuwa din syang suportahan sa panliligaw nya sa kapatid ko. Serious much. Yun nga lang... sana wag akong sakalin ni Kath after this.
*message alert tone*
From: Twin Sister
Huh? Why u there?
I just replied "basta :)" para tapos na ang usapan. Hindi na magrereply yan. Takot lang nyang makita ng prof or hindi maintindihan ang lesson. I.T.1 pa naman ang subject nya which is not really her forte.
After ko mag-type, i looked out again sa isang tao sa baba. Nasa second floor kasi ako, overlooking the parking lot at the ground floor.
Nandoon si Quen, nakasandal sa car nya habang nagtetext.
"Pssst!" i called.
He looked up to me. "Uy, ano na?"
"Itutuloy mo pa ba yung set-up mo? 20 minutes na lang, dismissal na ni Kath," i said not so loudly para hindi kami maka-iskandalo. He knows how to read lips naman eh. Kahit tamad yan mag-aral si Quen, may common sense naman yan. Haha. I'm mean, I know!
Napakamot sya sa batok sabay tingin ulit sa cellphone. "Ang tagal ni Rhovine eh!"
"Saan ba nagpa-print yun?"
"Bro!"
Narinig namin yung boses nung friend nya, which means, malapit na. I saw Quen nodded. "Bakit hindi ka nagrereply?!"
"Eh itinatakbo ko nga 'tong pinagawa mo para umabot!"
"Patingin, maganda ba yan?"
I just watched them as they unfolded a 5x2 tarpaulin. And i read what's written:
"Your smile completes my day, and a date with you will even make it perfect.
Will you go out with me, Kath?"
Define romantic: ikaw na talaga yan Quen.
Bwisit ka, napaka cheesy mo!, i said in my mind. Where did his twin brother hide nung nagpaulan ng thoughtfulness si Lord? Where, Enrique? Where???
"Ayos, bro! Astig nito!" nag-appear pa yung dalawa. "Tara, lagay na natin."
They straightened the tarp and put it over Quen's car, sa may hood.
Rhovine pulled out a shirt from his bag. "Eto pa yung pinahabol mo."
Quen went inside his car.
Maya-maya, narinig ko nang may mga lumabas nang tao sa lecture hall.
"Pst! Hoy, dismissed na sila!" I signalled to Rhovine.
He nodded and knocked at Quen's window.
Iniwanan ko na sila para salubungin si Kath.

KATH'S POV:
"ACHI, why? Hinintay mo talaga ako?"
She nodded. "Yup! Tara!" She pulled me.
