Anas POV

I don't even know why, I just ran.

He probably hates me now, or he thinks I hate him.

It's just, when he told me he loved me, I collapsed inside. I could not take it. How could such an amazing guy love such a fucked up bitch like me? If we do end up dating, what's to say he won't find another, prettier, funnier, nicer, normal girl and fall in love with her. What's to say he finds out about the real me, the one that only Becky knows, and he hates me for it?

I ran straight to Covent Park. Unlocking my phone, I impatiently scrolled through my contacts until I reached T.

I clicked on their contact and sent them a text.

'I'm in Covent Garden, and I really need a place to stay. Please help?'

'I'll be there in five.'

I sat there for a few minutes, leaning against a wall, headphones plugged in and reading Wattpad, ignoring the world.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Without turning round, I used my elbows and feet and aimed for the stomach and crotch area.

"Oof!" Said a very familiar voice.

"Tessie!"

I turned around and tackled my old friend, Emily. We used to attend school together in a small place an hour away from London, along with Becky, back when we were in Year 7.

Her nickname was Tessa/Tessie because of Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare.

Becky's nickname was Clarissa/Clary because of Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

My nickname was Carstairs because I was in love and "married" to James Carstairs from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare.

We were weird kids.

Tessie and I used to be really close. She moved away in Year 8 and I contacted her a lot for about a year, then my father found out. He forbid me from taking to her, so I haven't talked to her for two years.

"I've missed you so much!" I exclaimed.

"I've missed you too, but what on earth are you doing in London? Last I heard from you, you still lived in Cambridgeshire." she said.

We had now moved away from Covent Garden. She lead me to her car and unlocked it. I opened the passenger door and sat down.

"It's a really long story, Tess." I sighed.

"We have as long as you need, we can stay in this car for hours."

I explained the whole story looking at my lap, from when my father started abusing me up until Luke telling me he loved me. I even told her about the self harm and suicide attempts. When I finally looked up, she had tears running down her face.

"Oh Ana, you've had a really crap life, haven't you?" she said.

She leant over the arm rest and gavel a huge hug.

"I've missed you, Tessa."

"Lets go see Becky!" she said randomly.

Becky POV

We've been searching for four hours. The boys and I have searched everywhere. At the moment I came back to the tour bus to check she hasn't come back.

"WE'RE HOME BITCHES. DID YOU FUCKING MISS ME?" Ana screamed.

"Who's we're?" I yelled back.

"Me and Tess."

Tess?

As in Tessie-Poo?

As in Emily?

I sprinted out into the main room and saw Ana standing with a taller, more filled out Tess.

"TESSA I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" I screamed, running over.

"WAIT." Ana yelled. "PENGUINS."

We had this thing when we were younger where we used to stand with our feet out like penguins, because once we ran straight at each other and whacked our feet, which is really fucking painful.

We hopped towards each other and had a huge group hug.

Suddenly, Ana pulled away and held out her pinky.

"ALWAYS" she screamed.

"AND" I yelled back.

"FOREVER!" Tessa screamed.

"BOOP" We yelled, intertwining our pinkies in a complicated pinky promise and bending our knees slightly.

"I've missed this so much." Tessa said' tears streaming down her face.

"Me too."
