*three days later*
Ana's POV
Today I am in my dressing room, ten minutes before I kick off the tour in London. I'm scared.
Fuck, I'm terrified.
What if I go wrong?
"Calm down, it will be fine, they will love you!" Becky said.
Becky is going to be my make up artist, hairdresser, and clothes designer for the next six months.
Today she did my eyes with thick black winged eyeliner and no mascara. She applied concealer and a small amount of Baby Lips in Peach Kiss.
She then did my hair in a tight, high, bouncy ponytail, and braided my fringe back.
I am wearing black skinny jeans, black combat boots, a short sleeve Young and Reckless singlet and a ridiculous amount of bracelets up both arms.
"Ana, on stage in two minutes. Please follow me." said one of my favourite security guards, Jace.
"Sure, thanks." I smiled at him.
He led the way through a maze of hallways before I was in the wings of the stage. I could see my band setting up and the microphone stand in the middle of the stage. The crowd were chatting to each other. Then, the lights went out and someone shoved me onstage.
"Hi London! How you doing?" I screamed.
The response was deafening.
"I'm the support act for the Janoskians and Five Seconds of Summer, Ana Carwin! Who's ready for an original song, High School Never Ends?" I yelled into the microphone.
They screamed again, and I nodded to my band. They played the opening chords.
"Four years you think for sure
That's all you've got to endure
All the total dicks
All the stuck up chicks
So superficial, so immature
Then when you graduate
You take a look around and you say
HEY WAIT
This is the same as where I just came from
I thought it was over
Aw that's just great
The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who's the best dressed and who's having sex,
Who's got the money, who gets the honeys,
Who's kinda cute and who's just a mess
And you still don't have the right look
And you don't have the right friends
Nothing changes but the faces, the names, and the trends
High school never ends
Check out the popular kids
You'll never guess what Jessica did
How did Mary Kate lose all that weight
And Katie had a baby so I guess Tom's straight
And the only thing that matters
Is climbing up that social ladder
Still care about your hair and the car you drive
Doesn't matter if you're sixteen or thirty-five
Reese Witherspoon, She's the prom queen
Bill Gates, Captain of the chess team
Jack Black, the clown
Brad Pitt, the quarterback
I've seen it all before
I want my money back
The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who's the best dressed and who's having sex,
Who's in the clubs and who's on the drugs,
Who's throwing up before they digest
And you still don't have the right look
And you don't have the right friends
And you're still listen to the same shit you did back then
High school never ends
High school never ends
The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who's the best dressed and who's having sex,
Who's got the money, who gets the honeys,
Who's kinda cute and who's just a mess
And I still don't have the right look
And I still have the same three friends
And I'm pretty much the same as I was back then
High school never ends
High school never ends
High school never ends
Here we go again"
The atmosphere was amazing. I jumped up and down and ran around the stage. Everyone was screaming and jumping and a mini mosh pit had started.
I then sang Somewhere in Neverland by All Time Low and Numb by Linkin Park. After that I slowed it down by singing Stay by Mayday Parade.
I then thanked the crowd and introduced 5SOS and the Janoskians and ran off stage. I high fived the boys and wished them good luck as they bounded on stage.
"THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME" I yelled, hugging the closest person to me, who just happened to be Steve, the sound guy.
a/n the song in this chapter is:
