One week had passed. Things got better between Rick and Kate. She didn't asked again about where Rick was one week ago and he didn't bring the subject back. He tried many times to get her out of the loft but each time she just got mad at him. She still had nightmares every night and she had spent all days in bed, most of the time crying silently so nobody would have noticed it.

It was Saturday morning and Rick had his appointment with Dr Clay. Kate was still sleeping so he just left a note saying he will be back in an hour or two.

- "Hello Rick, come on in" Annabelle said, opening the door.

- "Hello".

She led him to her office and they sat at the exact same place than the week before.

- "So. How are you since last Saturday?" she asked

- "Better" he said lying to her

- "I feel like you're not telling me the truth. I can't help you if you lie to me."

- "I'm sorry."

- "Don't be. Tell me, what's wrong?"

- "Everything. Things are still the same since last week. Nothing has changed." He said looking down

- "How are things between Kate and you?"

- "Better, I guess. We had a fight after our last appointment, because I didn't told her where I was and she got really mad but things are better now."

- "Ok that's good."

- "But she's still staying in bed all days. I tried to take her out, for a walk, but she doesn't want to. She gets mad every time. I feel like I'm useless. I don't what to do. I tried everything, I asked her best friend to come but Kate refuses to see her, I tried to make her do things she usually love to do but she doesn't want. She just stays in bed holding the Teddy Bear we bought for the baby." He said, tears rolling down his cheek

- "Maybe she needs more time."

- "I don't know. It's been a month now. I know it's still recent but I'm afraid she's gonna fall into depression, if it's not already done. And I can't do anything against that."

- "You're not useless. You're here for her, believe me when I say that it helps her."

- "She needs to see someone. Even if it's a friend. The only people she's seeing is me, my mother and daughter and her father!"

- "What about you?"

- "Yes, what?"

- "Are you seeing friends? Do you stay with her all the times?"

- "No I don't see my friends, I spend almost all my time at the loft, but I have them on the phone."

- "You need to get out. She's a grown woman, you can let her alone for an hour or two."

He only nodded. He knew he should go out more often, he knew he would become crazy if he stayed all day with her. But he was so worried about her, worried she might do something bad, worried he won't be there when she needed him.

- "I will try." He said after a few minutes of silence.

- "That's good. You know what you should do for your wife? You should tell her to dress up. Even if she stays in your loft. At least she's not in the same clothes every day."

- "Ok, I will do that. Thank you."

- "Did you tell her that you were seeing me?"

- "No I didn't. We had this huge fight and I run away. I came back after because I couldn't leave her like that but we never spoke about it again."

- "Does she know where you are right now?"

- "No. She was sleeping when I left. I left her a note though."

- "And are you going to tell her?"

- "I don't know. I'm afraid she won't understand it."

- "Why wouldn't she?"

- "I don't know, she's not the same woman I've married. It's horrible to say that but I feel like I've lost her. She used to be happy all the time. She was the one who made me laugh when I didn't felt good. And now she's just... I can't even make her smile" he said wiping away the tears.

- "Give her some time."

- "I know"

- "I'm afraid we have to stop for today. See you next week?"

- "Ok."

They shook their hands and Rick left.
