Chapter 23

3rd person

A figure walks in the building as the 6 am bell rang. The linear looking man walked past the bloody animatrices on the stage. "Heh, didn't survive huh?" as he follow a little traces of a blood trail to the part and service. "Such a scene." he said looking at the mess that they left. "How am I going to clean this up." He sighed to himself, hearing a sound behind him. He turn around. "Hm.." nothing was there. "Probably was just a mouse." He laugh to himself. He left the mess as it is as he shut the door and locked it. "Erebus..." A woman's voice came behind him. The man that is name Erebus, turn quickly around. "What happen, why are you here?" Erebus collected his thoughts and said, "I was here for the next week night shift." The woman was confused. "But-"

Erebus interjects, "It was there last day, so someone else should have next well right?" The woman (aka manger) nodded. "Alright, since you been here for a while, but do be careful." She said.

"Will do Miss. Kayla," Erebus politely said as she left but halted. "Erebus, what were you doing in the parts and service room?" She turn back slightly to see his face. Erebus was looking down. "Well, I was looking for something that I lost in there before I left here." He said.

"Did you find it?" She said curiously. He nodded, "yes I did." She left it like that and walk into the dark hall out of the building. Erebus walked into the main stage area. "I have time, Better clean up a little." So he did, he clean up the animatronics from most of the blood that they had on them. He could tell they were staring at him. "Hehe," he laugh to himself. "You guys were never good at telling who was who."

After finishing all of them, he left the building knowing he have to come back for just one night.

Cad pov

"Blue?" She enter blue home again along with Mia. "Blue, are you awake?" Mia called out walking up stairs. Cad was concern about the place as she look around. "CADENCE!" Mia ran down. Cad is now more worried. "What wrong? Where blue?" Cad said.

"She not in her room or anywhere." Mia said. Cad immediately called nate seeing if she over there. "Yo cad what up?" He said in a tired voice, "it like to early for this."

"Nate, is blue there?" Cad said.

"Um no, why?" nate replied. Cad left out of the door and with no questions asks mia follows, "She not home." Cad heads for Skele bros restaurant. "Nate, I am going to go check her work place."

Nate hum, "she properly slept through her shift." responding with 'I hope so' Cad hang up.

She came upon the crowded building. Entering, it was full of children all from different ages. Cad and Mia looks around for Blue. Looking around the areas that blue could possibly be, Cad saw blue-ish hair. She called out but someone spoke to her instead. "Hello are you looking for someone?" A young voice said. Cad turnaround. Looking at the source of the voice. "Um, yes. A friend that worked here during the night. Do you know her?" The women spoke in a such concern manner, "yes she worked for me and, I haven't see her if that your next question. One of the employees told me that she left the night like normal." Cad was very upset, she said thank you to the women and quickly left to mia. "I can't find her." Mia said when Cad caught up with her.

Cad shook her head, "she not here. Come on then. Let's see if Nate got something."

Kayla Pov

Watching as the teen left in a worried expression, Kayla was concern for her but didn't know how to help. Unconsciously fiddling with a half broken golden heart locket. She walk past one of the animatronic. She look at prince. He was crowded by many children that was enjoying the music that was coming from inside him. With sad eyes, she moved away and down the right corridor. She sang quietly to herself....
