I grinned, thinking of what Scott had said earlier, me being amazing. I glance at his sleeping form, and a smile played on my lips, as I looked back at the dark highway, going about 120 mph, to get out of Adair, Oklahoma, and away from Gates. I stiffened, and not turning around, asked, "So, Victoria is a telaporter, huh?"
"Yes, she is," Kira spoke, squished between a sleeping Victoria and Puck. "Do they know?"
"Excuse me?" my brow furrowed, and my palms began to sweat on the black leather clad steering wheel. I glanced back at the boys, who were crammed against the sides of the camaro.
"That you see the future," she bluntly replied, leaning forward, as I shifted away from her.
"I don't see the future, I catch glimpses of it-" I shut myself off, and my jaw tightened when I realized I gave her what she was looking for.
"Do they know?" she gestured to the boys' sleeping forms.
"No," my voice came out small.
"You need to tell them," she insisted.
"I can't," I close my eyes briefly. "It's complicated. It's too dangerous."
"Would it be hard? Would it really be that much more dangerous? They trust you. They need to know," she leaned back, arms crossed. "Tell me, is losing their trust worth it?"
I stayed silent, passing cars like they were standing still.

I could see the wheels turning in her head, and I knew I had successfully planted the seed in her head. She would tell them. She was just that kind of person, her guilt would make her tell the truth, eventually. I leaned back, and rested my head against Puck's shoulder.
I turned my eyes to Scott McCall. I'm surprised he hasn't figured it out already, because he is a lot smarter than people probably judge him to be. For a jock, he is actually a really nice guy, and is very protective of the people he cares for, especially Crystal.
I shifted my gaze to Adrian Black. Smart, funny, and somebody everyone wants to be friends with, but hiding something, and something big. The thing is he reminds me of Crystal, in a lot of ways, but they don't resemble each other at all. Him, tall, dark, and ice blue eyes to die for, and her, petite, auburn hair and yellow eyes that kill with a look.
Hugh Jackson, just a good guy who is the silent, strong-type and only here because his brothers are in danger.
Crystal Mason, she's beauty, she's grace, she's Gate's prize. Yes, she's different and I'm getting weird vibes from her. Not bad vibes, just different vibes, unnatural vibes. Werewolf, a tellie, and is a seer, plus she is super smart if that is considered a power. Three talents in one body. I have never heard of three, even possibly four, powers in one body, other than the rumors that you go crazy and die before your twentieth birthday. I only knew of one guy, who succeeded in bypassing the age limit by another twenty years. His name was Steve Mason, a werewolf and mind reader; he went insane two days before his fortieth birthday, and Crystal has him beat with two additional gifts, and I'm almost 99% sure that Steve was Crystal's dad. I opened my eyes, and stared at her back, thinking, "Is she just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off?"
