(Scott)
Everything moved in slow motion. Adrian looked in the mirror, Victoria screaming, Puck yelling at Adrian, and Adrian's gaze landed on Crystal flying forward.
"Holy Cow!" Adrian screamed. They all screamed, myself included. She busted through the wind shield, and it shattered, scattering everywhere. Adrian hid his face from the shards of glass, but I couldn't take my eyes off of Crystal as she rolled and tumbled to the front end of the car. I fumbled with my seat belt. She looked at me, fear in her eyes, as she tried to catch hold of something.
"Nooo," I growled, while thinking, "Screw it." I lunged forward, seat belt digging into my right shoulder as I caught her wrist. I grunted, and her eyes caught mine, and I gaze at her in wonder, thinking, "She trusts me." She nodded, and she clung to my wrist, her long fingers pale from her tight grip. Someone reached around, and unbuckled my seat belt. The pressure was released from my right shoulder, and I ducked my arm free of the seat belt. "Hold onto me! Don't let go!" I yell at her.
"I'm not going anywhere," she tried to smile, and her jaw clenched as Adrian took a hard right.
"Come on dude," Adrian yelled shifting and passing a slow car. "You need to speed this up!"
I shifted over the broken glass, my lower ribs pressed against the dash. Someone rammed us from behind again, and my ribs cut into the dash, which was filled with glass, as her weight was jerked forward. I grunted and hands grasped my belt loops.
I reached with my right hand and latched onto her elbow, pulling her closer. I let go of her wrist, with my right hand still on her elbow, and reached for her bicep with my left hand. I inched her forward, and my right hand wrapped around her small shoulder, and the left had did the same. I braced my legs to push myself backward and pull her forward. We crashed into my seat, my belt loops free of hands, and Crystal on top of me. I wrapped my arms around her, as her hand twitched, and a clear barrier stretched across the missing glass. Her head rested on my chest, she was breathing hard, and her hands were clenching my jacket.
"I think I have an idea on how to get rid of the SUV," Adrian met my gaze, and Crystal moved off of me onto the gearshift.
"What is it?" Crystal took back control of the situation.
"I can use my abilities to crush the rims," Adrian moved out of the seat, and Crystal moved back into the driver's seat, as Adrian turned to see the SUV. His ice blue eyes narrowed on the SUV, and we all turned to watched. The tires blew and the SUV screeched to a halt, the metal throwing off sparks from hitting the pavement. "Yes!" Adrian lifted an arm into the air for his success.
I clapped his shoulder, but winced at the pain from my rib cage. She eyed me and I grinned, but then she frowned. She sped up and I noticed she was really pale.
"Crystal, are you okay?" I shoved Adrian back to the backseat.
She pulled over at an abandoned parking lot, got out of the car, and threw up. I opened my door and in a flash, was by her side, holding her wisps of hair from her mouth. They all scrambled out of the car after me, and hovered near us. She straightened, wiping her mouth, and holding her rib cage.
"Crystal, what's wrong?" I asked, smoothing her hair down.
She slid down the side of the camaro, and opened her hoody, revealing a large glass shard in the right side of her ribs.
"Son of a witch," Victoria covered her mouth, and glanced at me as I slid down beside her.
"Join the club," I said opening my jacket and showed her my once white t-shirt was red with blood.
"Oh, come on, man," Adrian moaned, moving into action, and kneeling next to Crystal. She pulled up her shirt for him to see the large glass shard in her ribs. "Doesn't look like it's too deep." He reached for it, and spoke, "This is going to hurt."
"Just do it," she clenched her jaw shut. He nodded, and grasped it at the base and yanked it out. Okay, yanked is a strong word, more like pulled it out of her ribs. She didn't make a sound but squeezed her eyes shut. We all watched in wonder as the hole in her rib filled with skin in a flash. Kira, Puck and Victoria's jaws dropped to the floor. I shrugged my jacket off, and painfully lifted my shirt over my head and it landed in a wet thump in front of Puck.
"That's nasty dude," Puck moved away from it.
Adrian began to work on my chest full of glass shards, and I noticed Crystal's eyes scanning me. I smiled and she glanced away, a blush rising to her cheeks. A nasty pinch from my chest, and I growled.
"Keep your eyes on the prize," Adrian mouthed off. I just smiled, and let him finish fixing me up. He then handed me a water bottle and as I washed my chest and pulled on the new t-shirt Kira handed me, Adrian wrapped Crystal's ribs with gauze on the wound and a nice wrap to hold it in place, just in case, it will still be tender, and could easily bust again.

I stood, "Let's get out of here." I stepped into the car and fired up the engine. They piled in, Scott riding passenger again.
"Where are we going to go now?" Hugh spoke up, saying the thing we were all thinking.
"I know someone," I pulled out of the parking lot, heading out of the city and to the north side of California.
"Who is this 'someone'?" Scott asked, shrugging on his leather jacket with a tiny grimace.
"An aunt," I replied bluntly, looking at Scott through golden eyes.
