A snow white wolf tackled Killian to the ground, and killed him with one bite to the throat.  But blood flowed from the white wolf's chest.  "No, Adrian!" I screamed, dragging myself to him.  The pain in my hands made me scream and roll onto my side in agony.  My hands were turning black, and I couldn't even feel them.  I didn't have the strength to go to him.

Hands cupped my head.  "Crystal?" Scott rumbled with concern.

"Oh, Scott," tears leaked from my eyes because I knew I was dying and it hurt so bad, like you want to breathe but can't.  "I wanted a life with you, to get to know you better, Scott.  I love you so much, just remember that."

"Shh, don't talk like that.  You're going to be fine," but the tears in his eyes said otherwise.  He pulled me onto his lap like a baby, while Hugh helped Adrian shift back into a human and gave him clothes.  "You're going to be fine."

I screamed and withered in pain as the silver moved through my blood.  "It hurts so bad, Scott.  Make it stop! Please!" I pleaded as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Oh, baby, I wish I could," his voice grew thick.  "Baby, I wish I could."

I seized his hand, "Don't leave me alone."

"I'm not going anywhere.  You couldn't get rid of me even if you tried," he repeated my words, and I laughed, but coughed up blood instead.  He held me in his arms.

"I think I'm going to die," I choked up more blood.

(Scott)

"No, stop saying that.  You can't die Crystal.  I need you," I looked up at Adrian and Hugh who were crying too.  "We need you.  I love you, and I can't live without you, baby," I rasped, my throat tightened.  She coughed up more blood, and I wiped her mouth.  I gently kissed her lips, and she kissed me back.

"I love you all so much," her eyes rolled to the back of her head,  her body going limp.

"Crystal?  Please, don't do this.  Come back to me," I cried desperately, hugging her body to my chest as a person ran into the room.  It was a girl with bleach-blonde hair, who had one blue eye and one green eye.  Her skin was tanned, and she pulled Crystal from me.  "What do you think you're doing?" I roared, moving for her.

"Do you want your friend to live or not?" the girl snapped, and I stumbled to a halt.

"That's what I thought," the girl snickered. Her hands turned green as she stared at Crystal.  Both of the girl's eyes flared a vibrant green, and plants roused beneath us.  The girl screamed, "Vamos!" and the plants rushed out of the ground, clinging to Crystal.  The mystery girl muttered something and the plants glowed.  They raised Crystal from the floor, and the green light grew unbearable to look at.  A whoosh of wind swept across us and the plants lowered Crystal next to me.

I leaned over her, "Crystal?  Can you hear me?"  She stirred, and her yellow eyes snapped open, as she gasped for air.

"What happened?" she asked, rubbing her throat.

"It's a long story," I grinned and pulled her to her feet.  I yanked her into me and kissed her, my hands around her back.  Her hands cupped my neck, as she fell into me.  Adrian and Hugh tackled us in a hug, breaking our kiss off.

"Crystal, man, am I glad you're alive," Adrian and Hugh hugged her and filled her in.

I turned to thank the different-eyed girl, but she had disappeared.  In her place, was a giant, purple/pink lotus flower.  I leaned down and picked it up from the ground, smiling.  "Thank you," I whispered.   I walked over to Crystal and handed her the flower.  "Let's get out of here."

"Sounds like a great idea," she grinned.  We walked out of the building.  Adrian and Hugh were tasked with blowing the building up while I kissed Crystal.

"Dude, you're my best friend, but I would consider not doing that in front of me.  I'm still her brother," Adrian frowned.

We glanced at each other and pulled apart, smirking.

"Let's blow this thing up," Hugh lit the fuse, and we ran like crazy.
