(Crystal)

Neon lights filled the luxury nightclub.  They flashed and flickered to the beat of the music, obviously programmed to do that.  The place had a pool on the roof, a balcony that over looked the dance floor, and a bar on every floor.  Acrobats swung from the ceiling, and dancers were performing on pedestals.  The theme was animal skin costumes on the acrobats and dancers.  The music boomed and people pushed past us to the dance floor.   The stairs leading to the top were to the left, along with the men's restroom.  To the right were tables and the women's restrooms.  Let's face it, women are always right.  I hid my smile, and Scott looked down at me.

"What are you smiling for?" Scott smirked, a hand possessively on my waist.

"Nothing," I mysteriously answered, heading for the bar.

"Where are we going?  Don't we need to ask around for Skye Bliss?" Scott followed me through the crowded club.

"And what?  Tip her off that someone is looking for her?" I turned and raised my eyebrows at him.  I faced front and continued on,"Trust me, if you want to know every little secret in a place like this you go to the people who work here."

"Whose that?  The bouncers, don't get me wrong Crystal, I do trust you, but they don't seem like the talkative type," Scott smirked as I continued to strut through the dance floor.

A guy, who was drunk, bumped into me and I hissed, pain flaring in my leg as I bent over.

Scott grabbed the guy's shirt, "Watch it buddy."

"Hey, sorry man.  I'm sorry," the man slurred, stumbling away.

"Are you okay?" Scott grasped my elbow.

"Yea, never better," I ground out, and I straightened.  "No, the bouncers would never talk, but the bartenders will."

"Hum, that makes sense," Scott kept his hand on my elbow, as a crowd of young kids pushed into us, shoving Scott right into me, like right behind me.  "Sorry," he mumbled, as his hands settled on my waist.  The lights flickered as the DJ changed the beat.  "Sick beat!" Scott yelled over the loud music.  The music was so loud that you could feel it beat in your feet, it traveled up your spine and vibrated in your chest.  It is the best feeling ever.  I nodded, the beat was great.  The DJ knew what he was doing.  We approached the bartender, who was a tall drink of water, and ordered drinks.

"So," I leaned forward, pursing my red lips, making them stand out and look bigger.  "We are looking for someone."

"And who might that be?" the bartender rested his elbows on the bar, his face near mine.  Out of the corner of my eye, Scott rolled his bright, blue eyes and shifted in his seat, looking out into the crowd.

"Skye Bliss," I pressed my lips together, and flipped my hair back, showing off my long, elegant neck.

"She's the DJ," the bartender was so distracted by my lips that he didn't even notice his boss walk up behind him.  His boss,a beefy man, whipped a towel over his head and began to curse him out for flirting with costumers and not doing his job.  I raised my eyebrows and turned in my seat.  A tall figure with black hair caught my eye.  I narrowed my eyes in his direction, my head pulling forward.

"No way, they couldn't  have known where we would be.  Yea, there is no way they could know," I pondered in my head.  The tall figure turned and my jaw tightened.  "You have to be kidding me," I grabbed my drink and tossed the whole thing into my mouth.

"What is it?" Scott glanced about the room.

"Your buddies are here," I stood, pulling my dress down.
