(Crystal)

When the scary men flooded into the room, I bolted for the bed, but stopped when I didn't see Ethan there.  I sent a questioning look at Scott, but he shook his head.  The  big, burly, most likely ex-military, men surrounded me in the center of the room.  All of their guns were trained on me, but their gripes were lax and loose.  They obviously didn't think I was a threat.

Rowan strutted in like a proud peacock, still in his suit.  "Well, well, well, Crystal Mason.  I almost didn't recognize you."

My face hardened, "Yea?  You didn't recognize me?  Oh, wait, you fled before I could collapse the building on your sorry hide."

He motioned to me, "See boys? She is dangerous and unstable, but her younger brother, now he has potential."  He strode up to me, and seized my throat.

"Crystal!" Scott leaped forward, only to have two giants grab him by his arms, kick the back of his knees, and send him crumbling to the ground.  A pistol cocked to his head.  I caught his eyes and discreetly shook my head no.  His jaw tightened, but he stayed down.

Gates lifted me off of my feet, and my hands grabbed the hand closing of my air supply.  I noticed the ex-military glancing at each other before shrugging it off.   He pulled my face to his, my feet still off of the ground.  "Where is the boy?" Rowan demanded.  "If you don't tell me, I will kill everyone in these two rooms, starting with him," he added, pointing at Scott.

I snorted, even if I do tell him, which I'm not, he'd kill us just because we caused a headache for him.  "Rot in ell, you son of a witch," I spit on his face.  His face, enraged, with eyes that showed no mercy, griped my throat shut.  My face slowly turned red as he motioned to someone just out of view.  "You've gotten stronger.  Why?" I choked out.

A man, who used to guard my cell, walked in with the scar running down the left side of his face.  Rowan dropped me and I landed on my knees, gasping for air.

"Hi, Killian," I grinned at my old nemesis.

"Clean this up, now," Rowan ordered, his obsidian eyes glinted in the harsh light.  He straightened his suit and strode out of the room.

I climbed to my feet, rubbing my throat as I grinned.  "Did you miss me?"

"Shut up, Mason, and wipe that cursed grin off of you face," his scar cut a jagged edge in his once handsome face.

"By the way," I paused my fingers on my chin thoughtfully.  "How's your face?"

He bolted forward and I stumbled back, shocked at his fast movement.  He leveled the gun between my eyes, as the military men looked on, stunned.  Killian pulled the hammed back, safety off, "I have been waiting for this day since you gave me this." He pointed at his face.

"I'm glad you can take pride in killing a bunch of innocent teenagers," I counted down on my fingers, and prayed Scott would catch the hint.

"Crystal, please, just don't do this.  Please," Scott jerked forward, but was held back.  He was trying to tell me he didn't think we could take this many on.  We don't have a chose.  Four fingers, three, two, and I erupt in a tornado of action.  I whirl, kicking the gun from Killian's hand and planting  my foot squarely in his chest.  With a yell, I push my leg firmly into his sternum, sending him rushing into the door frame.  He slumped unconscious as the rest of the men went for me.  I use my telepathic abilities to yank their guns out of their hands and sent them flying out the window, busting the glass.  "Oops," I smirk as Scott handled the two by him and the other six came for me.  I bounced on the balls of my of my feet, my fists up by my face, and a smirk on my lips.  Two to my right came at me first.  I grabbed one's wrist and yanked him behind me, falling onto his buddies.  I ran and jumped on the second's ones back, arm around his throat, choking him out.  His stumbled into the wall and banged me hard against it.  I grunted, putting more strength behind the choke hold.  He weakened and I slammed my elbow into the back of his neck and he fell.  I rolled, as a hand grabbed my foot, I jerked it away, getting to my feet.  The one I pushed into his buddies drew himself up as he approached me with a menacing expression.  I caught him with a right hook followed by a left hook then another right, I kicked him into the barred door with a loud bang, and I could hear startled gasps from the other side.  Before he could even react, I was on him.  I lunged forward driving my knee into his padded sternum.  I grabbed his head with one hand while the right elbow flew back meeting a short guy's neck as he came up behind me.  He stumbled, away choking.  I lifted my left leg and did a tilt, hitting another man under his jaw.  There was an awful crack and he fell to the ground.  I placed my right hand to met my left hand, behind the guy's head, who was still on the barred door, and pulled his head down to meet my knee.  I hit him a couple times before he fell limp against the door.  I could here Kira telling them to get this door open, as I was grabbed from behind with my hands pined to my chest as I yelled and struggled.

"You are man-handling a woman.  I'm going to kick your butt," I ground out, as I thrashed against him.  I turned my palms down and thrust my hips back throwing myself to the ground.  I hit the ground, sweeping my leg out and taking two of them down with me.  I slam my foot down on one's jaw and he was knocked out cold.  I rolled toward the short one and wrapped my legs around his head in a wrestling like hold.  He grappled against me, but he was no match for werewolf strength.   He turned purple, and nodded off.  I released him, and stood.  I was hit from behind, and I fell to my knees, stars dancing in before my eyes.  A hand pulled me up from the ground under my right armpit.  I used the pull against him.  I placed one foot on his knee, launching myself onto his shoulders, using his broken gun strap to choke him unconscious.   He smartly put his hand in-between the strap and his throat.  He blindly grabbed for my head, seized my hair and tossed me off of his shoulders.   Straight into a wall by the desk.  Dazed, I looked up to see him pulling a hand gun out, I slowly look around for a weapon.  He cocked it, but the man was yanked from view.  Scott punched him right, left, left, right, and hit him in the throat, taking him to the ground.  The ex-military guy got in a fight with a champion at this kind of stuff.   Scott pulled his head between his legs in an experience hold, pinning the military guy there.  Scott glanced in my direction where I was still slumped against the wall, with blood running from my temple and the back of my head.

"Crystal, I really need you to get up," Scott yelled, holding the man tight as blood ran from his split lips.

I stumbled to my feet as a black mass appeared to my right, I re back into action.  I twirled grabbing the lamp to my left.  I faced him and saw a fist headed to my nose, and I jerked to the left.  His fist flew past me and punched a hole in the wall.  He tried to pull it out, but it was stuck.

"Well, that's just too bad," I ducked under his stuck arm and raised the lamp, slamming it over his head.  He fell, hand still stuck.  I turned, hearing a crackle of glass,  I whirled around to catch Killian's hand, which had a shard of glass in it, and push it away from my throat to the side of my head.  He gave a roar and pushed me into wall.  The shard punctured the wall next to my ear, my hand keeping it in the wall next to me, as he grunted sliding it to the right.  I had no chose but to go with it, my head turned to keep an eye on it.  It stopped as we reached the framework, I gave a grunt as his right fist caught me in the cheek with a vicious crack and I kneed him in his boys. He bent with his mouth in a pinched line.  His face meet my knee, catching him right in the nose. It cracked and blood spurted from it as he stumbled back howling in pain.  I was on him right, right, left, and a punch to the throat.  I grabbed his head and bagged it into the wall, over and over, until he was passed out. I released his head and he fell to the ground.  I turned to see Scott punch one of the guys back unconscious.  I wiped my nose, which was running blood.  "Nice work,"  I spoke, breathless from the fighting.   He glanced up, starting to smile, but his face dropped.  I twirled around, but not fast enough.  A knife caught my left leg, my skin sizzled, and I froze, looking down at it in shock.  I raised my head slowly to see the white mask of a Hunter, who had tight, black cloths that hugged her curves, showing that she was a woman.  She yanked the silver dagger out and I screamed in pain, falling to the ground, while withering in pain.  She stepped on my wound, and I released a blood-curling scream the veins in my forehead showed the strain.  Scott lunged at her, knocking her knife to the ground with a growl.   Blood spurted, and I gave a yelp putting pressure on it.  Scott caught her hands before she could grab anymore of her silver weapons and yanked her into the wall with an angry roar.  A crack, her head at an odd angle, and she lay still.  He fell to his knees beside me, took one look at it, and grabbed a blanket, pressing it into my leg.  I yelled and whither around.

"Crystal, I know this hurts, but I need you to focus, and listen to what I am saying," Scott's voice demanded loudly.

I nodded, dazed by pain.

"Good," he kept one hand on the wound, while he grabbed my shirt with his one of his bloody hands and moved me into a sitting position against the wall.  I grunted, clenching my jaw shut, holding back a yell of pain.  "I need you to keep pressure on it for me, while I unbar the door, okay?"  I nodded looking at it.  He grabbed my hand and placed it on the wound, telling me not to look at it.  I kept pressure on it while he grappled with the barred door.  He growled in anger and ripped the whole thing off.  I blinked, trying to clear away the blurry edges, not feeling a thing anymore.  The last thing I remember was Adrian in front of me, telling me to stay with him.

I clasped his hand, "Always," I whispered, black creeping into my void.
