I woke up, startled by the sound of my alarm that hadn't rudely woken me up in days. I was starting to miss vacation already.
Groggily searching around for my phone and dismissing the alarm, I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes, stretching. I sighed as I got up and left the bedroom, heading for the couch where Niall's sleeping body was, loud snores escaping his open mouth.
Of course he didn't set an alarm. Sighing, I called his name in hopes of waking him up, but to no use. I decided to shake his body, telling him repeatedly to wake up.
"Niall, we're gonna be late. Come on," I said for the hundredth time when he chose to finally join the real world and open his eyes.
"What? What? What do you want?" He lazily said, annoyed.
"We're gonna be late. It's ten already. We have to be at the guys' hotel in thirty minutes," I said, gathering up all the patience I had.
He huffed, tossing and turning in the couch with his eyes closed, trying to get in a better sleeping position "We're not going anymore. Bus broke down. Paul called and said it should be fixed by tonight. Now let me sleep."
"Wait, so does that mean we're meeting them at night?" I asked.
He sighed exasperatedly, "Yes."
"Did he say at what time?"
"Can you interrogate me when it's not ten in the fucking morning? Please?"
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What's up with you?"
"God, just let me sleep!" He growled.
"Well, fine. Whatever," I muttered, walking back to my room.
I was glad that we didn't have to leave so soon. The trip was delayed for only several hours, but that was good enough for me to call Trisha and ask her to meet me at the cafè. I needed to see her before I left so I could say goodbye, and I also really needed to talk to her.
~
"So when are you leaving?" Trisha asked, wrapping her thin fingers around the straw and sipping on her iced latte. It was a sunny day, which was why we chose to sit inside the cafe rather that in the outdoor section.
"I don't know. I tried asking Niall this morning and he seemed like he was this close to cussing me out," I rolled my eyes.
"Woah, why?"
"I don't know! He's been acting really weird after he confronted me about that video," I ranted and soon widened my eyes, realizing what I had just said.
"So it was you? I knew it. I knew it was you in that video. I just couldn't believe it. You finally kissed Niall?" She excitedly rambled on.
I felt my hands get clammy as I quickly shot out a reply, "No, God, no. I didn't kiss anyone, are you insane? No way."
Trisha gave me a confused look, "Then what? 'Cause it sure looked like you two were making out."
I could feel the heat rise up to my cheeks, "No, we didn't...do that. It's just, it's a really long story," I sighed.
"We've got the time. You don't have anything to do at home, do you?" Trisha asked.
"God, no. Niall's probably still asleep right now anyway," I shook my head and took a sip from my drink.
"Then tell me," She scooted closer, leaning forward and resting her arms on the small table that separated us.
I told her everything. From when we were at the club until our encounter last night. I told her about Niall avoiding me and she intently listened without interrupting until I had run of things to say.
