Chapter 1 [Ikeri Uchiha]

Third person POV

"Big brother! Can you stay with me for tonight?" A four year old little girl stood at the door asking innocently.

"Sorry, Ikeri. Tonight I have an important mission I have to go on. It determines the future of the Uchiha clan. You stay here okay? I promise I'll come by soon." Shisui answered, patting her head and leaving.

"Okay, bye!" Ikeri answered. There wasn't a slight disappointment shown on her face because no matter what their replies were, she always wanted to respect them.

She went back into her little house, Itachi and Shisui poured their hearts in to build for her. It was build down at the end of the river. She's been living there in secret for as long as she could remember.

That night was the night, the night Shisui would use his Kotoamatsukami on Fugaku Uchiha to peacefully end the coup plan.

Not long later, as Shisui prepared to make his move, Danzo believing that simply manipulating the Uchiha's leader wouldn't end the conflict and that he would eventually try to manipulate him as well, chose to take Shisui's eyes for himself in the desire to protect the village in his own way.

While Shisui effortlessly subdued Danzo at first, the ruthless elder caught Shisui off guard by using the forbidden Izanagi with another Sharingan already in his possession to break free and steal Shisui's right eye. As Danzo and his men surrounded Shisui to take the left eye, Shisui managed to escape.

Shisui teleported to the river, to Little Ikeri's house, knowing it was probably the safest place there was for now. Danzo couldn't find him here and no one else besides him, Ikeir and Itachi know of this place.

"Big brother!" Ikeri said jumping to the door, excited. Her excitement soon turned into horror.

"Big brother Shisui! Are you alright? What happened to you?! We got to inform papa immediately!" Ikeri jumped, seeing Shisui hurt. Although it wasn't the first time she saw someone get hurt, she still didn't like the scene.

"It's alright Ikeri. I already informed him. He should be here any second now." Shisui replied, giving her a comfort smile.

"Shisui! Your eye!" Itachi came in yelling.

"Danzo got the right one. I managed to escape. I still have the left one. Danzo might come after the left one as well. I'm entrusting it to you. Give it to Ikeri once she awakens her mangekyou. I'm not sure whether will it work but that way she'll get her eternal mangekyou. I leave it to you to stop the Uchiha massacre." Shisui said, walking out preparing to jump off the waterfall.

"Big brother Shisui... Don't do it..." Ikeri said, tears were pouring down.

"Ikeri.. Your eyes!" Shisui and Itachi both said at the same time. Ikeri had awakened her sharingan.

"Sorry Ikeri. I have to. Good bye. Remember I'll always love you. Itachi, please save everyone." Those were his last words.

Itachi awakened his mangekyou that night, so did Ikeri. Shisui was Itachi's closest friend and Ikeri's only friend that she treated as her older brother.

That night Itachi didn't go back home. He stayed with Ikeri, he hugged her all night. They both cried themselves to sleep that night.

The next day, Itachi left early, leaving Ikeri with a note.

My little girl. I left early today, I made some breakfast on the table. I'll come back and visit at night. Take care.

Itachi POV
I woke up at 6 in the morning. I made Ikeri some pancakes for her breakfast before I left.

'Those are her favorite. I do hope she's okay. But awakening the sharingan and mangekyou at 4. That's very early.' I thought, entering the house that my parents and Sasuke lived in.
