Chapter 29 [Colours]

Ikeri POV
As soon as I got out of jail, I immediately made use of what I learnt. I needed to find the nearest source of information. I didn't know what was happening and needed to be filled in before I can help.

The nearest place...seems like a headquarter. It's closest but still far, it was in kumogakure.

I didn't take my time, more because I sensed something big from far ahead heading towards the headquarters.

I teleported myself there. It was headquarters but from the look of their faces and the topic they were talking to those on the battlefield about, the thing that was heading towards them was going to kill them.

"What's the thing heading towards here?" I asked, not bothering one bit about several if their shocked faces to see me here.

"Ikeri? What're you doing here?" Shikaku asked, seemingly on guard.

"Do you want your lives or not?! I'm asking you what's heading towards here!" I yelled, impatient.

Now wasn't the time to discuss matters about me. People were about to die and since this is headquarters it has got to be very important.

"A tailed beast ball sent by the ten-tails." Shikaku answered as the rest drowned in sorrow.

"Continue instructing those on the battlefield, I'll take care of it." I said, immediately heading out. The rest stayed inside, confused but did as I said.

I stood on the roof top, I could see a giant ball flying this way and it was getting close.

"I haven't tried it before but I guess it worth trying out." I took a deep breath, looking at the ring before yelling, "Susanoo!"

My susanoo started to build and it formed just in time to block out the tail beast ball that was heading here.

It was only my first try yet my susanoo stood tall and was fully body susanoo. It was odd, normally susanoo only has one colour but mine wasn't the case. It reminded me of the ring, my susanoo had colours circulating around it.

I deactivated the susanoo as I head back inside.

"It's done, keep up you're good work. I'm heading to the battlefield now." I said with a big grin on my face as the rest cheered.

Once again, I used what Shin sensei taught me and tried to sense who was where. It suddenly struck me when I thought I had sense Sasuke with Orochimaru in konoha.

I teleported to them, thinking Sasuke might have plans to destroy konoha and so revived Orochimaru. After all, it is the best time now since Konoha is practically empty.

"Tell me, why did you make Itachi do that?" I heard Sasuke's voice asking from outside.

I took a sneak peak and saw what I never believed I'd be seeing. The 4 previous hokages. Sasuke was asking Lord third about Itachi, I assume.

"Funny, you never tried asking me?" I made my entrance, giving him a smirk.

"What would you-" He turned around, yelling before realizing who I was.

Seeing me, he immediately activates his magekyou sharingan too.

"So you did take his eyes." I chuckled in sadness.

"What do you know?" He said, demanding for an answer.

"You're as demanding as ever, I'll yell you after the war so you've got to win,... Uncle." I said, purposely leaving about a thousand questions in his head.

But at least he'd help out now wouldn't he? At least I hope.

Third person POV

"Who was that?" Hashirama, Tobirama and Minato chorused.

"Ikeri Uchiha." Lord third answered, giving a sigh.

"I like her." Tobirama smirked.

Hashirama looked at Tobirama in shock. It would practically be a miracle having Tobirama liking an Uchiha. All he wanted was the Uchiha to be gone. He detested the Uchiha so much it probably wasn't even possible.

"Don't get me wrong. Uchihas are still as horrible as they are. It's just the girl is good. She knows just what she needs to tackle his intentions." Tobirama smirked, looking over to Sasuke who was now in his own thoughts.

"Looking for the answers on your own won't help. Take her deal and go help out in the war, I'm sure she'll tell you what you want to know." Minato said, giving him a warm smile.

"So Sasuke-kun, what's your answer?" Orochimaru said, his voice as
snake-ish as ever.

"I'll decide whether to vengeance against the leaf or... Depending on your answer. So, what exactly is this village that one strives to protect even if it means killing one's kin? Even if it means their own death?"

Ikeri POV
He still wants answers huh? Well I can't really wait for him, I'll just leave a few manipulated selves here. I'm heading to the battlefield.

'Wow. That thing is humongous.' I thought as I arrived on the battlefield, seeing the ten-tails.

Sensing my arrival, Naruto immediately rushes over to cloak me with chakra. I didn't take his offer but I did ask for the situation. He briefly explained it before rushing off again.

I cloaked myself with chakra, using the ring I received from the old man and teleported myself to the front lines.

Kakashi was attempting to send the beast away. But before he could, he was transported to another dimension, I think by Tobi but it is the first time I seen his face. I'd say Kakashi looks better than Tobi does.

But before anyone could do anything the tentails launched another attack but none were injured thanks to Naruto's nine-tails cloak.

However, the cloak vanished and tentails decided to send another attack. I was about to teleport and cloak this whole area with my chakra cloak before I sensed it.

'So they are coming. And minato would make it just in time. So I'll save chakra.' I thought, standing beside Naruto who was being healed by Sakura.

The attack was just in front of our eyes. In a second we could be dead but Minato made it just in time and teleported it away.

"Am I late?" Minato said, smirking. He knew he wasn't.

"Nope, you're just in time dad." Naruto said, as a big grin emerged on his face. He must be glad seeing his dad again. After all he did live a pretty sad life.

Soon after, the other hokage arrived, setting a barrier. The barrier wasn't any normal barrier it required four people of kage level to do it.

"Took you long enough, Sasuke." I smirked as he appeared behind me.

"You promised to tell me everything once this is over." He said, ignoring the rest who were throwing questions at him. Well I practically did the sane thing. I've been doing it ever since I arrived on the battle field.

"Yea, yea I did. Care to explain a little to your friends?"

He rolled his eyes and summed up an answer for them.

"Team 7 is finally back!" Naruto said, holding his fist in his other hand as Sasuke, Sakura and himself stood in a row.

"Don't forget about me you idiots." I smirked as I stood beside them, joining their row.

If this is what it feels like to have friends and comrades on your side then I got to admit. I like it.

Ever since Shin-sensei came in my life, from that point onwards it was as if my plain and dull life have been filled will colours. But now that I've accepted fellow shinobi as comrades I feel like my life is just like the ring, it's circulating with colours.

I'm sure this was what papa wanted me to experience. Im sure this was why papa loved konoha so much.
