Ikeri POV
It was just a normal day where I was having a normal conversation with Shin sensei. A normal chat that included some clues as part of training."Say you only have a few more years before you get out of here don't you, what're you going to do then?" I asked casually.
"Well-" Before Shin sensei could finish what he was about to say. I felt a sudden pull, like I was pulled into another dimension.
There was someone else present along with me and I was certainly not in jail anymore. I tried sensing the other party's chakra like Shin sensei taught me to.
Impossible. His chakra is way off normal shinobi's level of chakra.
"Who are you?" I asked. I wish I could take off these seals. I'm now trapped in another dimension and no longer in jail yet I'm still as a prisoner. I can't see, the seal is still sealing my eyes however handcuffs were gone.
"My name's Hagoromo."
Assuming from his voice, he's pretty old. But he shouldn't even be alive.
"Great. What does Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the sage of six paths want anything to do with a prisoner like me?" I said with a sarcastic smile hung on my face.
He didn't answer my question but instead he started telling me a summary about his mother and his son. I got to admit, it was a pretty interesting life story but this was also one of the reasons why I don't like old people. They're always very indirect and never get to the point.
"There's a war going on, all shinobi country have become the allied shinobi force and they're soon going to be fighting against my mother who will be revived. Reincarnate of Indra and Ashura, you know them. Do you have any idea of who they might be?"
Coming from his story, Indra and Ashura were like brothers yet enemies. Then it must be them no doubt.
"There's only two people I can think of, Naruto and Sasuke." I stated.
"Correct. But that has nothing to do with why I'm here. It's only a matter of time before I tell them about it. If plan works out, they'll successfully seal mother away. But I'm afraid they might fight each other afterwards and I want you to help stop them." He said, removing the seal on my eyes.
"Ah, it's been so long since I've seen anything besides darkness and here I am the first thing I see is an old man. Anyways, from what you're saying, you're most probably going to give them some power and if that's it then I can't do anything to stop them. I'm not strong enough." I said cleaning off the dust on me.
A grin emerged on his face. "My decision was definitely right."
That was when my artificial hand along with the other that was pretty bloody due to the anbus forcing the akatsuki ring that I had on off, both my hands were like brand new. On my right hand pinky was a ring. One that looked rather, interesting surprisingly. It looked like any other ring just slightly thicker yet there were colours circulating it.
"The truth is, you're strong enough as you are. What you lack is chakra. It's a pity that you're chakra level is lower than it should be. The ring provides chakra. With that, I'll leave you to your task."
With that said, the dimension disappeared and I ended up back in my cell. However, I was in perfect condition to escape. Well, nothing comes for free, I'll just head out and help as the old man wanted.
I activated my mangekyou and teleported myself outside of Shin sensei's cell, standing there. I was ready to say goodbye yet I didn't want to. It was the first time I saw his face and I got to say, he was pretty good looking.
"Shin sensei, I guess this is goodbye. I'll come visit some time." I said. I was kind of hesitating. I didn't wanted to leave him behind, but going out there right now might not be the best condition for him.
What was surprising was, he didn't rage neither did he break out. Instead he nodded slightly. "I understand. Till next time, Ikeri Uchiha."
"Till next time."
I left this place. It was a place I learnt a lot. It was a place that helped me get over papa's death. It was a place where I met Shin sensei. It was a rather interesting place despite it's conditions. It was fun, making trouble for the anbus with the convicts. If I were given a choice to head back, I wouldn't say I wouldn't accept it. Not when my friends are there. They made my time inside more interesting than I would ever expect it to be.
I went there, having an idea of wanting to experience what hell is like. But I came out instead of knowing what hell is like, I experience what having actual friends is like despite none of them being my age.
"I'll miss you guys." I mumbled as a drop of tear decided to drop.
