Kakashi POV
I got up early today, tried to make breakfast but I ended up burning the kitchen. I cleaned it up and went out to buy some breakfast before I went to the hokage's office to request for her to join the Academy too. Lord Hokage agreed without much hesitation. I guess she'll be joining them today.

I went home to inform her. But boy, the day was just getting started and I'm already tired. Taking care of a child is just troublesome. If it was myself, I'd probably just have some foodpills for breakfast.

"Good morning Ikeri." I said getting in the house. She was already awake. She was just sitting on my coach.

"Good morning, Kakashi." She greeted.

"I bought some breakfast. You can have some, then I'll send you to the Academy. It's a week from graduation, hokage-sama thinks you'll be able to pass with just a week of lessons." I said handing over her breakfast.

She took it from me and ate quietly. After she was done she spoke again. "Thank you for the food. I'll study hard and pass the test."

"You know. You don't have to be so nervous around me. I don't bite. Anyways let's get going." I said.

She gave me a smile. It was the first time I saw her smile. I have to say, her smile is beautiful. "Okay."

I left her at the Academy and went off.

Ikeri POV
'I wonder why Kakashi is being so nice to a stranger like me. Hokage's orders?' I thought as I entered the Academy.

"You must be Ikeri. Lord Hokage told me about you." A person came up to me. He had brown hair tied up in a pony tail, in his 20s and had a big scar across his face.

"Yes." I replied.

"Well I'm Iruka sensei. I'll introduce you to the class in awhile. Come with me." He said walking towards a classroom.

"Listen class! We have a new classmate. Ikeri." Iruka sensei introduced.

"H-Hello. I'm Ikeri." I said, giving a warm smile. Didn't want enemies on the first day of school now.

"Ikeri take a seat." Iruka sensei said.

I took a seat down beside a black haired boy. He was wearing a blue shirt with the Uchiha crest on it. So he must be Sasuke. Papa's beloved brother.

The lesson started not long after. The things they teach here... I already learnt them a long time ago so I didn't really pay attention.

Then came taijutsu training. We were supposed to have a spar. I observed the ones that went before me. They were weak, Iruka sensei didn't seem too disappointed or impressed. So I assume it's average. I guess I'll just put up an act. Wouldn't want then suspecting me on the first day.

"Ikeri and Sasuke." Iruka sensei announced. Let's see how good Sasuke is.

I would say he was better than the rest. If I'm not wrong he should be top of the class. I'll make myself average or it'll be suspicious. So I allowed myself to get hit by Sasuke more than once and allowed him to defeat me. In reality I could beat him up without breaking a sweat.

Lessons like that went on for a week until the day we're taking the graduation test.

"Good luck for your test today Ikeri." Kakashi said sending me off to the Academy. I told him he didn't have to but he insisted.

"Thanks." I said waving him goodbye. We've gotten closer just within these 5 days. He's a really nice person to be with despite having the horrible nickname that would make him seem, cold.
