Chapter 16 [Asking for a favour]

Ikeri POV
We continued our search for Tsunade. We had already tried several different gambling places, but still no sign of Tsunade. Naruto was training along the way and after awhile he manager to pop the water balloon, then the baseball. I didn't really train on our way, I was just concentrating on searching for Tsunade. It was more important now.

After a whole day of searching, Jiraiya decided that we took a break and had dinner. He brought us into a bar.

"Pervy-sage I'm not old enough to drink yet!" Naruto yelled, standing outside refusing to enter.

"I never asked you to drink, you can just have the side dishes." Jiraiya said, not even looking back at Naruto.

We entered the bar together and the last thing we would expect happened.

Tsunade was there. We found her in a bar.

We sat over with them. Tsunade didn't seem elated that her old team mate was here and they finally reunited. Perhaps Tsunade didn't wanted to reunite with them at all, she did run away.

Jiraiya was casually chit-chatting with Tsunade about stuff that has nothing to do with her being hokage. I was about to snap and get Jiraiya to get to the point but just then, Tsunade started asking who me and Naruto were.

"This is Naruto and that is..." Jiraiya didn't get to finish his sentence.

"I'm Ikeri. Jiraiya, can we get to the point already." I said, pissed, I clasped my hand, placing it on the table.

"Jiraiya, your apprentice seems to have become impatient." Just as Tsunade finished her sentence I spoke again.

"I'm not Jiraiya's apprentice." I stated, glaring at her.

"Then what are you doing here?" Tsunade raised her eyebrow, looking at me, interested.

"Looking for you."

"And what business do I have with you?"

"Can we not discuss that now? Jiraiya has something important to tell you." I said throwing her a glare again.

"Right. The elders have chose you to be the next hokage." Jiraiya announced.

"I'm not doing it." Tsunade answered straight away, looking at anything but his eyes.

Then she explained that hokage are only people who sacrifice their lives for nothing before Naruto snapped saying he wants to be hokage and hokage are honourable people. Then they got physical, they went outside for a fight where Tsunade said she would only use one finger to beat Naruto.

And she did, she beat Naruto with one finger. Then, Naruto tried using Rasengan and Tsunade made a bet on her necklace that if Naruto and I could do Rasengan in a week she would give it to us.

I gave her a blank look. I can do it by tomorrow if I want to.

Then we went back to the inn while Jiraiya went to do more of his 'research'.

Back at the inn, I place my things down before taking a couple of baseballs, leaving the inn.

"Ikeri! Where are you going?" Naruto asked.

"To train." I answered with my back facing him.

I activated my mangekyou, teleporting myself on top of a hill before deactivating it.

I held the baseball in my hands.

'About power huh?'

It didn't take me long before I managed to pop the ball.
