Chapter 14 [The mystery]

Ikeri POV
We arrived the stadium later than we thought we would or rather I thought. Kakashi was always so late why am I surprised.

"Ikeri! Kakashi sensei!" Sakura said waving as we were walking towards her.

"Why Ikeri your clothing is rather dull today. You should try something more youthful!" Gai came out of nowhere handing me a green coloured clothing he and Lee wears.

"Gai sensei! Ikeri looks better in this clothing." Lee said.

"Why thanks."

"You missed Naruto's match. It was epic! But you arrived just in time to see Sasuke's match. It's starting soon!" Sakura squealing in excitement.

We arrived on time to see Sasuke's match starting. Sasuke was up against Gaara of the sand. This might be interesting. Let's see how much Sasuke has learnt for the past two months.

No so long after the match started, Naruto came rushing over.

"Kakashi sensei! You have got to stop this match. That guy thinks his point of life is just to kill people. If the match continues Sasuke is going to die!"

I glanced over at Naruto with a dull look.

"You got to believe me!"

"Naruto, just sit down and watch the match. You might pee your pants. Sasuke wasn't doing nothing for the past months."

Pee our pants? Is Kakashi serious? Chidori isn't such a marvelous jutsu. Okay I mean it technically is since it kills and it just caused my arm.

Putting the match aside, Orochimaru is here. To be exact he's pretending to be the Kazekage.

If he's here that must mean he has things set up already. I got to tell Kakashi.

Kakashi was standing beside me. I moved side way and bumped into him before glancing over signalling him that something is wrong.

He nodded in response.

How are we going to deal with Orochimaru? I'll just have to inform lord third.

"Teleport me there." I said to Kakashi softly.

He nodded in response before placing his hand on my shoulder and teleporting me behind lord third.

I acted formally and pretended to whisper something unimportant into lord third's ears but instead I was giving him a warning.

"Lord third. Kazekage is Orochimaru, be careful." I whispered before standing back.

"Who is that, Hokage?" The kazekage asked or I should say Orochimaru.

Lord third played along. "This is Ikeri. She came to report that nothing dangerous is happening."

"Lord Kazekage." I greeted.

Orochimaru nodded before Kakashi teleported us away. Lord third didnt seem to want us there. Afraid that he'll catch us in the fight perhaps? I just hope he can handle Orochimaru.

Just as we arrived back beside Sakura's seat a sleeping jutsu was casted.

"Release!" Me, Kakashi and Sakura released ourselves.

Kakashi went over and released Gai while he got Sakura to release Naruto and Shikamaru. Kakashi summoned Pakkun before having Sakura, Naruto, Shikamaru and Pakkun to go after Sasuke who has gone after Gaara.

Soon after they left, Anbu attacked us. Actually to be more specific sound nins who are dressed as anbu.

I glanced upwards to find Lord third already stuck with battling Orochimaru. I couldn't go help. The barrier Orochimaru's subordinates put up stopped me from entering so I stayed to help Gai and Kakashi handle these "anbu".

When we we're finally done, I glanced up to see that lord third and Orochimaru are still battling. However it seems as if Lord third was losing. I went up to the roof to see if I could help somehow.

"Can't we attack one of those 4 who are holding up the barrier?" I asked an anbu.

I didn't receive a respond.

"You guys are so useless." I said out of annoyance.

"Stop, I'm the captain if the anbu, lord third gave instructions for us to let him handle Orochimaru on his own." The anbu finally spoke up.

"Well screw his orders he is going to die!" I yelled before realizing that the battle was already over.

Lord third was on the ground. I hate to assume but he's most likely dead considering the fact that his opponent was Orochimaru. Sadness and anger filled me at the same time. I didn't wanted to stay and see the cold hearted anbu ditch their beloved hokage so I turned, ready to leave.

That was when an arm grabbed me from behind.

"This katana, only anbu possess it. It is not sold in stores or anything. How did you get your hands on it?" I turned to see the captain asking me. The rest of the anbu we're cleaning up the mess Orochimaru left behind.

"It was a souvenir from an enemy." I said before I glared at him causing him to lose him grip as I escaped back to Kakashi.

Third person POV
Ikeri left the anbu back there. He looked as if he was in shock. Deep shock.

"Captain. What do we do with lord hokage's body?" An anbu came up to their captain asking but received no reply.

"That glare..." His captain mumbled.

"Captain? Captain!" He shouted, then only his Captain snapped out of it.

"Sorry what was it?" His captain spoke up.

"What do we do with Lord hokage's body?" The anbu asked once again.

"The usual." His captain replied.

"Yes sir." He said before rushing off.

Ikeri POV
I fell on my knees as I looked back at the place I just left, seeing the anbu bringing Lord third's body away. Tear fell down my cheeks again.

Kakashi patted me on the head, giving me a warm smile but deep down I knew that he was crying too.

I rubbed away my tear before standing up and walking outside the stadium. I made sure no one was around before activating my mangekyou and teleporting myself home. I was lazy and wasn't in a mood to walk home.

I teleported myself outside my room. Just as I reached the door I fell before Kakashi caught me. I suddenly felt so heavy, tired, worn out. I haven't felt like this ever since I came to konoha.

I tried to stand on my feet but found that I couldn't. I was completely worn out. Part of me was covered in wounds. I felt like I was dying. What exactly happened to me? It's not like I've been traning with the Akatsuki.

Kakashi layed me down in sitting position on the bed before helping me bandage the wounds I didn't even know I had.

"Ikeri. How did u get yourself this wounded? You weren't wounded when you exited the stadium." Kakashi spoke up while wrapping my wounds.

I could barely move my mouth but managed to choke out a few words before coughing out blood. "Don't... Know..."

Kakashi finished up the bandages before laying me down and exiting the room. "You rest now."

I closed my eyes and settled myself down before falling asleep. Little did I know someone was watching me.
