Chapter 9 [The fight on the bridge]

Ikeri POV

"I leave Naruto in your hands. He's pushed himself to the limits so he probably can't even move today. " Kakashi said.

"What about you and Ikeri. You two are still recovering yourselves." Inari's mom said, looking worried.

"Why do I look wobbly? I'll be okay." Kakashi joked, smiling.

"I'm perfectly fine from the start." I replied, turning my back to head off first.

We arrived the bridge to see the workers all beaten up on the floor. All of a sudden, a thick mist forged.

It's definitely Zabuza.

"Ikeri, Sasuke, Sakura get ready!" Kakashi yelled. "I knew he was still alive. This is his hidden must jutsu."

Suddenly Zabuza's water close surrounded us.

"Go on Sasuke." Kakashi said. He wasn't worried. Sasuke can handle a couple of clones right?

"So you knew those were water clones huh? You're not bad at all." Zabuza said.

"You made a mistake calling these ninja brats. Sasuke is the best young fighter in the hidden leaf village. Sakura is our sharpest mind. Ikeri is quite unpredictable. And last but not least our number one hyperactive knuckle head ninja, Naruto." Kakashi said.

Unpredictable? Hmm I guess maybe a little bit.

Not very long after, Haku started to turn in circles and trapped Sasuke in his kekkei genkai. Secret jutsu: crystal ice mirrors.

"Now we shall begin. And I'll show you what speed really is." Haku said before Sakura threw a kunai at him. He caught the kunai but didn't seemed to see Naruto's shurikens coming at him.

Naruto came in talking about himself and how heroes showing up at the last minute.

"Idiot! It would've been pre effective if you stayed hidden!" Sakura yelled. She was right.

"Shadow clone jutsu... " before Naruto could finish his jutsu, Zabuza threw shurikens at him. Naruto stood there, frozen on the spot. But before the shurikens could hut Naruto, Haku saved him because he said he wants to fight Naruto his own way.

"As usual you're too soft." Zabuza said as he smirked. "You know the score Kakashi. If any of you goes after Haku. I go after the bridge builder."

Zabuza saw through us.

Kakashi tried to tilt up his forehead-protector and Zabuza went at him with a kunai trying to destroy his Sharingan. I immediately activated my mangekyou and teleported in front of Kakashi and jumped to block the hit. I only made it on time so I didn't have time to get anything to use as shield so I myself had to be the shield. Zabuza's kunai hit my stomach instead of Kakashi's sharingan. I fell down and coughed out a little blood.

[p.s. Note that when I say mangekyou it means the eternal mangekyou]

"Ikeri!" Kakashi yelled helping me stand back up.

I don't know why I just did that. Why did I expose my identity to save Kakashi? Even though he didn't see my eye but it would raise suspicion. Ugh I'm a idiot.

Suddenly the mist got thicker and thicker. Kakashi got Sakura to go protect Tazuna as Kakashi attack Zabuza. He suggested I should stay out of the fight but I didn't I stood behind him. Suddenly I saw Zabuza going for Tazuna.

I activated my mangekyou once again and teleported behind Tazuna. I took out my katana and used it to block Zabuza's sword. But Zabuza swung it and it threw me to the side. I coughed out blood again.
