Chapter 38 [The Last]

Ikeri POV
The treed rattled as the wind blew against it. Leaves fell on the ground before being blown away. Surrounding was nothing but trees way taller than I am.

"You two came so early." A voice I've never heard said. It wasn't deep, it was quite high pitched. He jumped down from a tree branch, landing on the ground in front of me and Sasuke.

So that was Kazuo Tomura? He isn't what I expected. His body was well trained, masculine but not too big sized. His hair was black hair, it was like a bush. His eyes were the most attractive part of him. They were so light coloured that they almost seemed completely white but yet, it has a slight shade of grey.

"Ikeri Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha, did I get it right?" He said in a cheeky tone, as if he was playing with us.

"Kazuo Tomura." Sasuke replied, his tone just as casual as his position. I was no better. It was as if we were both underestimating each other.

"You know, Danzo has been worried about your well being." I said with a slight chuckle, glancing over at him to see his reaction.

"Hm...? I thought he was dead since he left me alone for so long." He laughed, sending two kunais. One flying towards Sasuke's chest and one towards me. It wasn't any normal kunai flying at you. This was at high speed and the force... You can't just reflect it back.

Sasuke dodged it only barely. I teleported myself behind Kazuo, activating my mangekyou. He turned around, sending kicks at me. But none of them caused damage. I've been trained for worst. Kisame never has light kicks.

Sasuke on the other hand, caught up behind him with a chidori. Kazuo sensed it somehow and turned to dodge it. Only to meet by another Chidori. He was going to dodge, but he was short of space. But he didn't want to get hurt, there he showed his skills.

He teleported behind me, throwing five kunais at me. Thanks to having my manipulated selves, I saw it coming and managed to dodge it in time. If those kunais were to hit, I probably wouldn't have been able to move and would bleed a lot. They were specifically aimed to do so. It was also one of his clan's skills.

"Stop, Ikeri!" I heard familiar voices yelling. All three of us including Kazuo turned our head. Then came Haru rushing in front of Kazuo with his hands stretched out. Haru and Eri both followed along, leaving Shin sensei behind, confused.

"What's this?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes, questioning. Shin sensei caught up to us and stood on our side.

"Stop, Brother Kazuo loves the leaf." Kim said with confidence.

"H-He didn't do anything wrong..!" Eri spoke up, her voice shaking slightly. Haru nodded rapidly in agreement.

I laughed for like a second before getting serious, narrowing my eyes. "Get away from him."

They looked at me in fear and shock. They never seen me serious before especially not going to attack them seriously.

"Ikeri... They were in the ROOT slightly before the war started, I'm sure they've met." Shin sensei said, letting out a sigh.

Without a warning, Sasuke used his rinnengan and swapped places with the three of them before sending a chidori at Kazuo. He swiftly dodged it but got thrown at Sasuke by one of my manipulated self. The chidori didn't reach his heart but it did paralyze him. He was on the ground, staring up at the trees. He couldn't move a muscle but we didn't move to kill him either.

"My parents were killed by the Uchiha and I was only lucky enough to escape." He let out a small sigh, as if speaking his last words.

"That's why you're doing this isn't it?" Sasuke said, standing beside him, looking into his eyes.
