Chapter 23 [Major screw up]

Ikeri POV
Naruto was slightly mad at me. No. Very mad.

"Why did you let him get away again?! You're just a traitor! Every damn time, you never bother to stop him! Do you even treat us like team mates?!" He yelled at me as we were making our way back to konoha.

"Yes! I allowed him to get away! I didn't have one slight intention on bringing him back to konoha! He's just some stupid naive boy being consumed by darkness! Do you honestly think he's going to return? Do you honestly think that you can bring him back? Well, let me be clear once and for all. I don't care whether you think I'm a traitor or not. I'm here, I do what I want. Sasuke isn't coming back! It's either his dead corpse or mine."

Naruto decided to go ahead, he couldn't stand talking to me anymore I assume. We followed behind. No one spoke.

"Why was Orochimaru so threatened? You were still in distance from him. He still had a chance of escape and he's probably better than you are." Yamato said as the tense decreased.

"Because I had him. He was corned. I thought you would know at least that." I said shaking my head

"Gah! And you could've killed Orochimaru and you let him get away!" Naruto exploded in anger. He got made a rasengan and came at me.

'Idiots will always be idiots.' I thought as I activated my mangekyou.

"Why can't I move!" He yelled.

Without waiting, my manipulated selves helped knock Naruto out.

"What did you do to Naruto?!" Sakura yelled as he ran over.

"Nuh uh. One more step and you'll hurt yourself." I warned.

Sakura didn't bother. She just kept running ahead towards Naruto. That was before she got hurt by the sword of my manipulated self. The sword slashed her hand and her hand started bleeding. She immediately started healing it.

Yamato immediately acted accordingly. He used his wood style and grabbed Naruto and Sakura as Sai followed him, running off.

"Damn it. Forgot about those two. Go after them. I want them restraint." I commanded.

It didn't take long. My manipulated selves over numbered them. In addition, they couldn't see them, so naturally I had to upper hand.

"Good job." I said after they were restraint.

"You will forget whatever happened and head home to Konoha as if nothing has happened." I said, casting a genjutsu upon them before using Kotoamatsukami on them.

Damn it. I screwed up.

We all head back to konoha as of nothing just happened. A genjutsu was cast on all of them and the people who passed by. This was done so they couldn't me at my current condition. The me they see is a perfectly fine one.

Then finally, after a long time, we arrived back at konoha. Yamato and the rest went to report the mission. I made an excuse saying I was tired to leave first.

I entered the house, closing the door after me. I released the genjutsu and once I did, I immediately started to fall. I didn't have control over myself anymore.

I was panting hard, trying to catch my breath. Blood rolled down my eyes as if they were tears. I felt like my muscles tearing apart. My chakra level was really low. A little more and I'll undoubtedly die.

I waited, for my head to hut the ground, for me to lose consciousness and just wake up with more chakra. To my surprise, my head never landed on the ground. Instead, I felt my body being supported by an arm.
