Ikeri POV
"Alright, let's set off!" Naruto said as the nine of us stood at the gates of konoha.
It was all Kakashi's idea. He suggested that if we find Itachi, the closer we'd get to finding Sasuke since we heard news that Sasuke killed Orochimaru. I stated out that it was plain nonsense since Sasuke isn't going to just go up to Itachi, not just like that. Thus, finding Itachi wouldn't mean finding Sasuke. Unless you find him, capture him and tie him up, waiting for Sasuke to come. Then that'd work, but I wouldn't let them do it.
Lady Tsunade agreed to Kakashi and formed an eight man team. They made it nine, including me. Lady Tsunade thought it was a good idea since I knew the akatsuki better and I could protect Naruto during the journey. Just like that, a team with Kakashi, Yamato, Naruto, Sakura, Sai Kiba, Shino, Hinata and myself.
Not very long after we set off, we decided to split into pairs so that it'd be faster. I got paired up with Naruto. Kakashi with Sakura, Yamato, Kiba and Said, Hinata with Shino.
We were supposed to meet back in an hour but I'm pretty sure we took longer than that.
On our way, we bumped into Kabuto. Kabuto handed Naruto a notebook with the Akatsuki information in it, as thanks for inspiring him to strove for something of his own. He showed us his eye, which was a part of him where he absorbed left overs of Orochimaru.
Disgusting. But somehow, the feeling that someday, he was going to be a great obstacle didn't leave me. I pondered around the decision to kill him now or let him be.
However, before we could stop him and ask him questions, he headed off. We couldn't catch up so we decided to just move on and continue to find Itachi. Well I didn't really put in effort in chasing him either.
Before we knew it, the sky turned red with crows everywhere.
"What's happening?!" Naruto screamed in shock as he went on defence, knowing danger might be coming.
What he didn't know was what's installed for him behind the red sky and crows.
I immediately activated my sharingan.
"Did sasuke come over yet?" I asked as he flew down from the sky along with his crows.
"No." He paused. "Naruto, why do you not give up on Sasuke?"
"Because he's my friend!" Naruto replied emotionally.
"Friend." I laughed. "Don't you have a better reason?"
He keep quiet, not knowing what to say, looking down guiltily at the same time.
Silence fell before papa decided to stuff a crow into Naruto's mouth.
"It'll be with him, help him when the time comes." Papa said, shattering into crows as the sky turned normal again.
"But I, will not allow it to come." I mumbled, rolling my eyes before we continued the journey.
We looked at the time and it was already 3 hours. As expected, we lost track of time again. We went back to meet the rest and found them fighting against Tobi.
'If Tobi's here, doesn't that mean...' The thought of it caused me to shiver in fear.
"Useless people get out of my way!" I yelled, crashing through the trees, charging at Tobi, hands on my katana, grabbing hold of it.
Third person POV
From that point onwards, it was as if all emotions were cut out of her except for her urgency to find Itachi. She held onto her katana tightly as her sharingan activated. She ran towards Tobi at the speed of light, before anyone comprehend what was happening, everything was already over.
It happened in a matter of seconds. A black and white creature, in specific Zetsu appeared just before Ikeri teleported.
Zetsu stretched his arm out towards Tobi, somehow obtaining Tobi's sharingan. Perhaps it was because it was too fast, even Tobi didn't see it coming.
Following through, Zetsu dropped it into a bottle, and forcefully brought Tobi away. At the same time, Zetsu left a small army of himself to fight the rest.

"Kisame, let me through!" Ikeri yelled as she ran towards him.
She wanted to teleport directly there but a barrier was set up earlier and it blocked her out. The only way she could enter was from the entrance, where Kisame was guarding. There was a few other people there waiting to get in, she supposed.
If Kisame wasn't going to let her in, she decided she was going to get in at all costs.
"Ikeri. This is between Itachi and Sasuke, Itachi doesn't want you to interfere." Kisame said in a calming tone, as if he was trying to call her down.
"Idiot. Idiot. Idiot. I knew I should've killed him back then." Ikeri mumbled, clashing with Kisame.
It was strange, despite Kisame having such a cold heart, Ikeri would always warm it up and he would always be nice to her. He liked her personality and all.
After several clashes, Kisame smirked. "Go save your dad Ikeri."
With that Kisame stepped aside allowing Ikeri to rush in, heading directly to where Itachi is. She was able to track his location with the ring Leader gave her. The ring showed clearly the location of all who were wearing it.
Far off, she could see a red susanoo, black fire, she knew the battle was already heating up and perhaps ending soon.
Feeling stressed, anxious and scared, she added speed, force and kept running despite the complains of her legs. That was the only way she could reach them faster, the only way she could possibly save Itachi.
