Vampire! Tom x Reader

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'm sorry I had to- no, this isn't a fucking lemon. I'm saying this because at this point that would be the idea XD

It was a dark, cold, October night...just kidding this isn't a horror story.

Or is it?

I was just sitting on the couch with Edd, watching tv. It was a pretty spooky day...Friday the 13th. Matt, Edd, and I had stayed in all day. Edd and I because we didn't want to go outside, and Matt's reason didn't make too much sense to me. He said something about not wanting to get bit again...whatever that meant.

I hadn't seen Tom today, which altogether wasn't too strange. It was like him to go out on Fridays and Saturdays to go to a bar and get a drink or twenty.

Though, it was pretty late...normally he would be back around 9 or 10. By now, it was almost 12 A.M. Nobody was really outside...

The more I thought about it, the more I became worried. That's when I stood up. Edd looked at me in a drowsy daze. "Hm...?" he hummed in confusion. I looked at him while walking away, putting on my F/C hoodie. "I'm going to go find Tom. Be back soon." I said, turning. He just nodded. He obviously was drowsing off. I shook my head slightly before walking out.

It was slightly chilly, but not too bad. I decided to try his favorite bar first. He might just have gotten drunk and passed out there. I wouldn't be too surprised. So, I started walking there.

As I walked, I couldn't help but feel that something was...off. The lights all seemed dimmer than usual, and the clouds were covering the stars, but the moon shone bright. It felt like something out of a horrer movie, to be honest. I shrugged it all off, though. I have my priorities.

It took a little while to find the bar, but I finally did. And boy, was I confused. It was closed. That was really strange. Normally, the bar DOESN'T close on Friday nights. I peered in through the window, just in case. I didn't see anything...wait.

WAIT.

I think...was that blood on the floor?!

My eyes widened. No, no. It couldn't be. It was probably just some wine that a drunk spilled. Wait, no, that can't be it. The bartender would have cleaned it up before leaving.

This was really disturbing...I backed away from the door. And then I almost screamed.

I had backed into something cold, but soft. I felt it grab me. Naturally, I yanked myself away, and turned around. Standing there was probably the most unusual looking man I've ever seen. And I was friends with someone with black eyes!

He had very pale skin, white as snow. His hair was a shiny, dark black, and was formed into a V shape in the forehead. His eyes were completely red, aside from the single yellow slit in each of them. His teeth weren't teeth, they were fangs, ready to bite into something...The very thought scared me. And what scared me more was what I realized he was.

He grew closer with a smirk. "Now, now, don't be shy..." he said in a low, venomous voice. I just backed away more, this time more quickly. His eyes narrowed. "Bad..." he hissed, and then prepared to lunge at me. I prepared to meet my doom.

But, it never came. Instead, I heard a familiar voice yell "No!" from above, and then, to my surprise, a living, breathing bat crashed into the vampire, causing him to stumble and fall. His fall caused his head to hit against the concrete, knocking him out. Then, the bat sat up, strangely humanlike. I was still lost for words. It only stunned me even more when it waddled off of the vampire, groaning slightly, and shifted into a human form. And that human was...

None other than Tom himself.

Except he was different. He looked the same, but completely different at the same time. His teeth were definitely sharper, and his clothes were wrong. He still had his blue hoodie, but he also had a black cloak and a navy blue bow tie on.

He was slightly glaring at me. "What are you doing here?" he asked sternly, his voice sounding a bit raspier than usual. I started to talk, but the vampire on the ground moved his arm, catching both of our attentions. Tom whispered "damn..." before suddenly grabbing my arm and quickly whispering "come on!" to me. Without a moment to process what was going on, he ran off, dragging me behind him. I let out a "whoa!" as I almost failed to keep up.

We somehow wound up in an alleyway, where he finally let go of my arm. He peeked out of it for a moment, and then came back in, walking up to me. He frowned at me. "You shouldn't be out here. You could have gotten bitten too!" he said quietly, yet still sternly. My eyes were still wide. "I-I was worried...oh God...holy Hell...y-you're a vampire!!" and then I started frantially rambling.

The whole time I was frantically rambling, Tom was shushing me repeatedly. I wouldn't be quiet, though; I had too many questions. So, finally, Tom took matters into his own hands. Or, well, lips. He did the first thing to come to his mind to shut me up; he kissed me. Not even a quick one or a gentle one, either. It was a deep one. My eyes widened even more than I thought they could, and I tensed up. After a few moments though, I couldn't help myself, and I relaxed, kissing back.

When he finally pulled back, I was stunned silent again. He took my hand. "Okay. Now, Y/N. I need to get you back home..." he trailed off, pulling me close to him. I didn't mind at all, to be honest. It made me feel safe. We walked out of the alleyway, and with Tom protecting me, we headed home.

"WE'RE HOOOME!"

"Y/N WHAT THE HELL IT'S LIKE TWO IN THE MORNING?!"

"Oops..."

Eheh...I feel like this is one of the less enjoyable ones. Eh, whatever.
