Monster Tom x Reader

I was running out in the rain in the middle of the night. Why, you ask? Oh, nothing big, just chasing down my housemate and crush who had turned into some sort of monster thing!

Hours earlier, another one of my fellow housemates, Tord, had angered the one I'm currently pursuing, Tom. Now, they fight a lot, but apparantly Tord had brought up something that made Tom snap. He had went to his room, and Edd, Matt, and I all thought it would be best to leave him alone and let him calm down in his own. Turns out that didn't happen, he went all-out godzilla mode, crashed through the wall, and was now somewhere in the woods. We were trying to find him.

Edd, Matt, and I had split up, wanting to cover as much ground as possible. I knew for a fact that Tom went this way, but do they listen? Nooo. Whatever, though. As long as Tom is safe.

I ran for quite a while. The rain had turned into a slight drizzle, though I was still thoroughly soaked. I was also out of breath; the frosty night air made it harder to breathe. I was just about to take a break when a tree crashed down nearby, and I heard a low growl. Jumping up immediately, I turned to the direction that the tree fell from. Standing tall there was Tom. Or at least, I thought it was. It was a huge, gray-black cyclops sort of monster with claws, a long tail, two purple horns, and a single eye, black as midnight. "T-Tom...?" I stuttered out. The monster looked straight at me as I said it's name. It WAS him. I slowly walked towards him, and he growled again and backed away, causing me to flinch slightly. "H-hey! It's okay, it's me!" I said. He watched me, slightly warily, as I approached him again. Carefully, I lifted my hand to his paw and set it down on it. He flinched, and I did too, but we didn't move. He seemed to relax after a moment, and I smiled at him. "It's me, Tom." I said softly. He let out a grunt and shifted, causing me to jump slightly, but then he stood up and sat down next to me, his tail wrapping around me. I blushed, but curled into him. I wasn't entirely sure, but I think that Tom got...smaller. As though he shrunk. His fur was also slightly lighter...I stopped thinking about this, though. Instead, I gently pet his tail. It was surprisingly soft for how it looks. Tom let out a soft grumbling sound, and I took this as an equivalent to purring. I smiled and quietly giggled, and Tom nuzzled me, and I felt him shrink more. By now, he was in a more humanlike shape, and was only about 7 feet tall. I smiled and pet his head fur, and then felt myself drifting into sleep. I WAS pretty tired, after running after Tom for as long as I did. I curled up to him and let myself fall asleep, not caring if we were outside. I seized the moment.

After several hours, I awoke to the morning light shining through the trees, and to a flashing light that came from my left side. I fully opened my eyes, and tried sitting up. I couldn't, though. It confused me for a few moments, until I realized I was being held down by someone. Twisting my head to see who, I blushed. I was being held down by Tom, now in his normal, human form. His sleeves and jeans were ripped horribly and his hair was slightly flattened by the drizzle, but otherwise, he looked pretty peaceful. And cute. AND I WAS BEING HELD BY HIM. I was internally screaming. That internal screaming got louder as I realized that Edd and Matt were there.
Matt had taken a photo, and Edd was looking at us smugly. "I see you found him." he said to me. I blushed even darker. "Uh...y-yep." I said. He laughed. Then, Tom shifted above me.
He let out a sort of groan, which led to a yawn, and opened his void-like eyes, looking straight into my wide ones. He smiled slightly and sat up, letting me sit up as well. "Mm...morning Y/N." he said drowsily. I was silent. He turned and looked at the others, and then back at me, slowly processing what had happened. Edd helped out with the process. "Mornin' lovebird." he said. Tom finally realized, and blushed a faint pink, standing up and dusting off, and helping me up. I took his hand, my heart racing even faster than it had been, and stood as well. He glanced at me before looking back. "Morning, Edd." he said, surprisingly calmly. Edd looked surprised at this too. Tom noticed and snickered, and then turned to me. "Y/N." he said my name. I felt my heart pound as he took my other hand. "Y-yeah?" I said. He smiled a bit wider and didn't reply, no. Instead, he gave me a long, gentle kiss on the lips. My eyes widened and I blushed my darkest, and I heard Matt gasp in the backround. After my moment of surprise, I kissed back sweetly.

When he pulled back, he hugged me and whispered "Thank you." I only nodded, my head buried into his shoulder, smiling wide. After we hugged for a moment, he let go of me. But he didn't stay off me, no. He picked me up, bridal style, and held me like that. I let out an "Ah!" of surprise as he did so, and he chuckled. "Let's head home, guys." he said casually, starting to walk back. Edd and Matt happily followed, Edd smirking at the new couple and Matt still fangirling. Not as much as I was, though. This was more than I ever dreamed.
