dear bear,

today you were walking a few steps by yourself. it only felt like a yesterday when you would lay in your crib and the only action you would do, was wriggling your tiny feet.

your uncles and aunts came today, jimin was especially even more excited to see you. as he was kissing your cheek, you reached out with your small hands and pulled on his glasses.

you seemed to really like your aunt rohi. she brought her two kids and her husband...well your uncle came along as well. you get the gist.

your aunt yuyan didn't want to hold you at all. she didn't hold you until your uncle jungkook helped her. she said that she was 'cotdammit' scared that she was going to break you. we spent the afternoon eating together as a whole group again. it was fun, bear.

maybe in a few years you'll finally join us in our circle.

you already started to act like a drama queen. which definitely comes from your mothers side. not mine. your mother was a true drama queen that overreacted when she wanted too. most of the time she just looked like a chicken in water.

in college, or should i say a 100 years ago. it seems as if kids nowadays think people my age were born before dinosaurs even existed. but i was once like that, it's excusable.

anyway, in college we would always have to follow your mother's plans. she was like an overbearing, demanding, authoritative figure. but i was fine with that especially since she was a very good leader during projects.

so i'm fine if you become a true drama queen. i won't dislike you for it. i don't think anyway can especially if you end up like her. someone who can confidently weigh down people to reality. if i was able to handle your mom, i think i can handle you.

or maybe you'll end up being similar to me instead. but if you end up not being like either one of us. i'm fine with that? because even if you do end up adopting certain traits similar to us, you are you at the end of the day.

being yourself is so much more beautiful than copying others and being untrue to yourself. don't let society ever try to change you in the future, bear. don't let them.

because you are a gift from above that should and will never change.
