it's crazy how much you've grown in the past years. seeing you get excited about middle school has me really happy for you.
we went to your school during lunchtime to see the class lists. your face lit up with pure excitement when you found out that you were in the same home room as your friend.
i think you'll do amazing in school. to me, what you get doesn't matter. at the end of the day- it's what you learned morally that matters more. to be a good person and loyal friend. that's what matters most for now.
we- your mom and dad are incredibly proud of you. i know that the past couple of years have been difficult for you to get used to the fact that your old teacher had now become your mom.
you sometimes ask me if it's bad for you to call her mom. it isn't. she's helping me raise you and she has every right to be called your mom. your birth mom is still your mom as well. now you just have two people who love you to the deeps of this world.
we are truly so proud of you and how far you've come. it's a beautiful day.
