I can't believe it's our wedding today. From a bachelor guy I'll be transformed into a married man. People say that getting married means restrictions for your old life. But I guess if I'm not imposing anything on her so she won't do the same. Here I'm getting ready in my new sherwani when Vicky comes in intruding my space.
"Bro be ready to halal today... Joru Ka Gulam Banne Wala Hai Tu Aaj!"
"Shut up Vicky, come hear & help me with the gift which I have to pick for Kriya."
"Bro don't expect me to give tips in matters of jewellery. You should ask Simmi."
*Knock Knock*
"Bhai are you ready?"
"Simmi andar aa & help me na."
Simmi came in only to find me struggling with my confusion & Vicky enjoying my state.
"What the hell bhai! Your still not ready, kahin aisa na ho ke baarat nikal jaaye aur dulha yahi reh jaaye." -she taunted.
"Arre first help me in selecting a set for Kriya, then I'll get fully ready."
She stared at the sets placed on my dresser with an dropped jaw.
"Wow... for bhabhi? Waah bhai sahi jaa rahe ho aap. Shaadi se pehle hi joru ka gulam bann rahe ho." -she teased,
"Simmiiii." -I whined.
"Achcha sorry sorry. This one, yeh bhabhi par bohut hi khubsurat lagega." -she chirped while showing her choice.

"But I'm ready just have to wear this pagri."
She gave me a look & then at the turban.
"Do you really think you can tie this by yourself? It's a sister's ritual anyways so let me do it." She made me sit on the chair & slowly tied the turban around my head sticking a broach onto it.
"Now you look like a perfect groom." -she said praising her work.
"Dulhe ka sehra suhana lagta hai..." -sang Vicky dramatically.
"Oh fish! I totally forgot about the sehra." -facepalms Simmi.
