Tu fais- you do
Il fait- he does
Elle fait- she does
On fait- one does
Nous faisons- we do
Vous faites- you do
Ils font- they do
Elles font- they do

DESCRIBING THE WEATHER

When talking about the weather, you must always use the verb faire (when saying the weather is). Also, you must use the il form.

E.g. Il fait clair dehors- It is clear outside

Chaud- hot
Froid- cold
Beau- nice
Frais- fresh
Mauvais- bad

THESE PHRASES USE IL Y A (meaning THERE IS/ THERE ARE)

du soleil- sunny (il y a du soleil- it's sunny)
du brouillard- foggy
des éclaircies- sunny spells
des nuages- cloudy

THESE PHRASES USE THEIR OWN VERB (ONLY THE IL FORM!)

Il pleut- it rains/ it is raining
Il neige- it snows/ is snowing
Il gèle- it freezes
