Just Dreams

"It is done. I am done" Ben had dropped his light saber and walked towards me. 

He was on the opposite side of a dark field filled with bodies and droids and space crafts and battle machines. It looked like a dark scene of a final fight. The end all battle. There was only him and I. We were both the last soldiers standing.

I was unable to control my body and allowed him to advance towards me. I walked towards him and together we met in the middle.

"I knew you would come" I said. I could feel tears dripping down my face that mixed with the rain. "I knew there was good in you" 

"Im sorry you had to wait" He said with a regretful voice and I saw the man I was in love with. The fragile and sensitive man that I had came to love through our connection. through the stories we had told each other. 

We looked deep into each others eyes and I finally felt complete. The war was over. The Rebellion had won. There was finally peace and balance in the galaxy. 

The space between Ben and I was quickly filled and my lips were placed firmly on his. It was a great feeling that left me in awe. We both desperately kissed, our lips met with a fierce passion of need. The built up tension that we had been begging to release had finally over come our bodies in a sense up euphoria. His hands wrapped around my waist and held me tightly to his chest where I clutched his robes. I could feel his emotions. He was sorry that he had not turned to the light side sooner. He hated himself for the amount of lives wasted because of his actions. I felt the love he had for me and the need that he had for me. I could feel him enter my mind to feel my thoughts and emotions. I gave him love and happiness I showed him how happy I was to be in his arms. Finally we broke apart. We were soaked by the rain but neither of us were cold. 

I looked him into the eyes and slowly woke up from the blissful dream.

I blinked my eyes a few times as I stared at the ceiling of my room. It was small because there was not much space on the Falcon but it was good enough. I had no belongings inside and the room was empty except for the bed that I was laying on. I looked at the time to see that it was late at night. I had fallen asleep fairly early in the afternoon so I was no longer tired. I closed my eyes and tried to force myself to sleep. An odd feeling suddenly over came me and I looked to my side to see Ben asleep. He was slowly breathing in and out and his eyes were closed. He seemed so peaceful. I knew that I should not allow the connection between us but I could no longer help it. I felt fairly confident because he was asleep and there is nothing he could do that I would allow. If he tried anything I would shut off the connection. 

"You had a dream" He said. His voice was as it always was. Controlled, Straight forward and frightening. It however did not frighten me but it made me comfortable. Although it was supposed to make me shiver with disgust. 

I did not answer him and instead thought that it was best to ignore him until the connection was broken. I closed my eyes and tried my best to ignore his presence. 

"It's very graphic. If I knew you felt this way about me I would have confessed my own feelings sooner" He opened his eyes and turned his head so that he was now looking at her. She was beautiful her eyes were closed and her cheeks turned a tinted shade of a subtle pink. 

She was embarrassed that he had seen her dream. That he knew her love for him only grew. 

"You love me?" He said in a confused tone and sat up. He was happy at the thought that she returned his feelings for her. That he was not alone.

"I don't love you and stop reading my mind" She groaned out and opened her eyes. She did not sit up however but just looked at him. She did not want to fight.

"I love who you could be. I love the good in you" She said as she retailed the dream.

"You had finally given in" She said as she looked at him deeply into his eyes and watched as he looked deep into hers to visualise the dream as she spoke.

"You had said that you had finished, that you were done. It made me so happy. We no longer had to fight. All we could do was love each other. You apologised for taking so long to come to me" She said and her eyes began to tear up. She watched as his face began to grow sad. He did not like seeing her cry. "I forgave you. I saw you for who you really are. For who you could be" Rey said and got up from her laying position on the bed to come closer to Ben. She reached her hand out to touch his cheeks. She showed him the dream and watched as he bring his hand up too hold hers and gripped it tightly. He fought to not cry and soon Rey could feel his frustration. 

"I was able to see the man I fell in love with, to kiss the man I love" She said in a shaky voice. She watched as he drew his face closer to hers. Slowly they drew closer together until there lips were inches apart. 

"I had a dream too" He had said and closed the gap between them. He kissed her with anger and passion and need. She did not respond all she could do was stay still in shock. Ben used the physical connection between them to show her his dream as he had seen it. 

They were on the same battle field except this time the First Order were reigning high. They had won the battle and had shot the last of the Rebels. Rey was forced to see her friends dead bodies. To see many of the Rebels dead on the ground. To see innocent people get slaughtered. She was unable to control her body and was surprised to quickly turn around facing the last of the villagers. There were children, mothers and fathers. Families. She wanted to scream to them. To tell them that she could help them or to run away. But the fear that they held in their eyes. It was directed at her. Rey looked down to find a light saber in her hand. The same one that had slaughtered the other innocent people. She felt a hand grip her shoulder and looked up to see Ben so close behind her he was pressed up against her back in a encouraging and comforting way. I turned around to see him in his black robes and a giant black vessel that must of belonged to the first order. To us. I had seen all we had accomplished. I had joined the dark side earlier and together Ben and I had taken over the galaxy and lived like royalty. The galaxy was in a unwanted peace that was directed through dictatorship. But nonetheless conflict was gone. All that was left to do was kill the civilians. I turned around to face them and looked into their desperate eyes.

"Do it my love and we will rule together" Ben had whispered into my ear while slowly wrapping his arm around the front of my waist drawing my back closer to his chest.

I raised my arm and killed the civilians effortlessly and turned around to see Ben smiling at me with pride and love. He took both of my small hands into his large ones.

"Together I promise we will change everything and create a peaceful world. A world in our image. No more conflict, no more battling and war. I gift you my heart and the universe my  love" He has said passionately and filled with happiness. 

"Im sorry you had to wait for so long" I recognised my words from my own dream except now I was speaking them. 

We joined in a passionate kiss much like my dream except this was not comforting. Our romance terrified me. This was a possibility I knew that it was possible that I may turn to the dark side but I was determined not to let that happen. As we kissed he brought me close and I eagerly returned his passion. I was screaming on the inside to let me go because the more his lips touched mine the more I saw my friends dead bodies, the innocent civilians and flashbacks of the horrible deeds I had done. Although I had not really done them it felt real and it was a possible future that could occur. We broke the kiss and stared deep into each others eyes.

"I love you" He had said while breathing heavily after our kiss. His fore head was on mine and we both felt so comfortable and happy. 

"I love you" I replied and our lips found each others again.
