"But whether or not I come back is up to me." I said as I ran off in another direction devising a plan to help the civilians. I no longer cared about the battle. Who won or who lost. For now I had to save as much people as I could. And figure out what I am going to do after...

ROSE POV

"WE NEED TO HELP THE CIVILIANS!" I yelled out towards our commander. 

Poe and Finn were out in the field looking for Rey and I had lost connection with them. We had made an alliance with the bandits in order to unite and defeat the first order. 

"We are doing all we can to evacuate them but the First Order keep pushing" The commander argued. 

Most of our troops were helping out and dealing with injured citizens. We were trying the best we could but for some reason the First Order continued to push. The map that the bandits had stolen had been flown off and returned to the rebel base and was safe from the First Orders clutches. 

"MUST I DO EVERYTHING MYSELF" I yelled out and rolled my eyes while grabbing out my blaster and running towards the civilians. 

"This way everyone! Move it!" I yelled out and shot at the oncoming enemies. 

I watched as many of the civilians looked at me with shock and confusion. Clearly they didn't believe me or trust me to protect them. I slowly lifted my hand and showed them a rebellion ring that had been given to me by Finn after I had given mine to a young boy. [TLJ] Their eyes suddenly lit up with hope and they quickly made their way towards the house I was pointing too. If we gathered them in one spot we could protect them. I ordered most of the troops to go inside and protect them. It had been a while and the battle was still going fast and hard. I felt out of breath but I was not going to let that stop me. 

"God I need to work on my cardio" I groaned out as I took a second to catch my breath. 

I looked towards the large house too see most of the civilians. There were children, women and men. I felt proud. I had saved all these people. But I did not have time to admire my work. I had saved most of the civilians and stored them into the house where they could be protected. Luckily this was a small town. As I ran around looking for more people to help I heard a voice.

"Here over here! Please listen I am trying to help!" I saw a storm trooper yelling out. I was so confused. I watched as the storm trooper took off the helmet to reveal a woman. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. Her skin was rough and she had a scar on her cheek. Although she had a frightening yet gentle face her eyes were soft and true. 

"Please I can help you" She walked towards a civilian and was disappointed when they ran away.

"What are you doing?" I asked behind her almost laughing when she turned around quickly with surprise. 

"I uh I am helping" She said looking unsure. I could tell that she was not used to talking or was uncomfortable. She looked at me from head to toe and looked at the rebellion symbol on my jacket. 

"Look I don't want any trouble. I'm just trying to help" She said raising her hands up to show that she was surrendering. 

"Well duh I can see that" I said while giggling a bit. I could tell she was surprised with my positive attitude. " but why?" I asked with genuine interest. 

"Well this uh" She said while scratching her neck and looking around. 

"This is my home" She said with a sad look as she took in her surroundings. I looked around with her. Everything was on fire, broken and burning down. 

"I'm sorry" I said. "I didn't mean to uh" I said trying to apologise but I was lost for words. 

"It's all right. Me and my brother joined the troops to protect our home. Not to destroy it ourselves. After that girl came up to me and talked me into helping I have been gathering survivors with her" She said but suddenly frowned "Well as you just saw... we're trying but clearly they don't trust us because of our suits" She said gesturing to her suit. 

"Is there another one of you?" I asked "Storm troopers who have turned good?" 

"Just me" She said with a sad look but it was quickly replaced " and a girl. Regina? no Reina?" She asked herself trying to remember the name. 

"Rey?" I asked 

"Yeah Rey. She is the supreme leaders wifey" She said while rolling her eyes.

"Wifey?" I said confused

"Yeah they are infatuated with each other but clearly that isn't the case anymore" She said with a smirk. 

"Anyway I am Mei" She said. "I'm trying to help but I am getting shot out by both sides. The troopers now know that I am a trader and the rebels don't know that I am on their team" She said frustrated. 

Laser shots came towards us and we quickly ducked and ran the other way towards a house that we could hide behind. 

"Don't worry I took care of it" I heard a voice beside me to see Finn. 

"Jeez you scared me" I said and slapped him on the head with my gun. 

"How could you leave me! I don't even know how to use this" I said holding up the blaster like it was a foreign item. 

Suddenly a noise came from a corner and I shot out and hit a trooper directly in the chest. 

"Sorry can I do that around you?" I asked Mei. I thought she would find it weird watching her colleagues die. 

"No it's fine. They are the enemy" She said with a stone eyed look that was filled with hatred.

"Don't know how to use it huh?" I turned around to see Finn smirking and shaking his head. 

"You can be quiet. I found us a new friend!" I said and hugged Mei. I could tell that she was very uncomfortable with it. 

"Yeah" She said and looked very nervous.

"I guess now we have a rough idea of how to find Rey. Poor thing she must have been terrified being locked up with the First Order." Finn said with a sad look. 

"Locked up?" Mei said confused and took my hand off of her shoulder. 

"Yeah she had been taken away from us. Stolen by Kylo Ren" Finn spat out with hate. 

"No she came willingly. We were all told that she came willingly" Mei said confused. "Plus she looked fine to me. She had every opportunity to run. Hell she could have ordered every storm trooper to do what ever she wanted. She's royalty" Mei continued. "Well at least she was until Kylo Ren and her had a fallout. Now she fights with the resistance. Or she is just saving civilians to pass the time" Mei shrugged. 

"What is happening?" I asked myself.

"We have a problem. We have good news and bad news." I heard Poe through Finn's intercom. 

"Ok go already" Finn said clearly aggravated. 

"Well good news is I found Rey" He said and than we heard a grunt and a loud bang and a few shuffling noises. "Bad news is" Poe continued out of breath. "She is trying to kill me"

I hope you like my new character that I have made. I will go more in depth later and I will put Mei good use trust me this is a good idea. Scouts Honour
