Suddenly the doors opened and the escape pods were readied.

"I understand. I love you too"

REY POV 

"Don't worry, I won't say anything" Matt had said and broken me out of my trance. 

I looked out the window of the escape pod and watched as we had gotten closer to the ship that contained Finn, Poe, Mei, Rose, and Lacie. 

"Thank you" was all I could manage to say. 

All I had wanted was to be away from him, but now he had stopped trying, chasing me. HAd he stopped loving me too?

BEN POV

The tears would not stop falling from my face. Where had I gone wrong? How could I fix this? After everything I have done to her, how could she still love me?

'This is why you are alone' 

The small voice in my head spoke. It was slow and scratchy and made my skin crawl. The dark side. 

'Because you are weak'

'They all leave' 

I clenched my face and shut my eyes as tight as I could. Willing the voices away. 

"GENERAL!" I yelled and soon Hux came running with a stern face. 

"Yes Supreme Leader," He said with a straight voice. As unemotional as a robot. 

"Stop all the troops, bring them back and disarm all weapons. This war is over." I ordered. 

Soon his face was overcome with surprise and worry. 

"Sir this would not have anything to do with that 'girl'" His words laced with disgust that made my blood boil. 

"That 'girl' is none of your god damn business you brainless idiot," I yelled out and reached out to choke him.

 " I gave you an order General" I sneered at his face and finally dropped him to the floor. 

"I suggest you get to work" I called out as I walked away. 

"But sir this will take months! We have thousands of armies, countless bases, and artillery!" He argued 

"We can win this war! Take over the galaxy! We are so close!" He screamed. 

"I give the order's General. Get it done. Or I'll get someone else to" I threatened him and walked away. 

Restoring the galaxy, stopping the war. That would be how I was going to prove Rey how much I love her. I would become good for her. And it may take months or years. But I will become what she wants. I will love her when she can forgive me when I can forgive myself. 

With this vow slowly the First Order was coming to an end. With stormtroopers all over the galaxy surrendering to the Rebellion. Peace and joy spread like wildfire and the war would soon be over. However, with the First Order perishing a new evil will rise to meet it.
