I Have to Get Out of Here

DAMON

            "COME ON GUYS, SOMEBODY HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING!" I yelled at Lou. Joe was the one to answer though.

 "We are looking sir, we have contacts, we don't think he has gotten very far yet just hiding somewhere. We will find him though that I am sure of." I punched the wall and watched as the blood ran down my arm. 

"Well hurry up, I need to know she is safe!"

Just then my dad walked through the door. "Okay enough with breaking my walls! Damon calm down, with how many contacts we have we will find her soon. If that's not good enough then go look for her yourself, if you weren't willing to do anything I would have already told you to look for yourself. I don't want to waste resources on one little girl, you know that." 

 Now he was pissing me off. "Just because you never loved anyone doesn't mean everyone is the same! Now I love this girl and will do anything for her even the stupid thing you want me to do! I would lay my life down for hers and I will also walk away from all this even your piece of shit resources to do this myself, don't think I won't!"

He grabbed my shoulder, "listen calm down I'm sorry, I'm so used to being boss I sometimes forget that I have a son as stubborn as I am. You aren't walking away from this and when we find her and you do the job you will be all the way in. And don't think once all is said is done you can act like this. You may be my son but you are also my employee and will not disrespect me in front of anybody got it?"

I rolled my eyes, "yea I got you but just help me find her please."

 "Okay, boys get out there, hurry, and find this girl so we can end this!"

SAINT

I swear two days of being with a man you were terrified was going to snap at any minute feels like an eternity. He wouldn't let me find out anything about my mom and that was killing me more than actually being here, if I could just find out if she was okay I'd be able to think more. My father just acted like everything was normal which made me realize how far gone he was. He wanted us to eat every meal together and was so wrapped up in himself didn't even realize I barely touched my food, I just couldn't eat that much I needed to know about my mom.

I finally got some courage to ask him something. "Can you please tell me how my mom is I need to know!" 

 He hit the table, "your mom has got you for the last 7 years all to herself! Now it is my turn so quit mentioning her or there will be consequences, understand!"

 I just looked at my plate, "yes I understand." Then he got up and locked me in my room before leaving.

 "I swear I'm coming home mom, just have to figure out how!" Hours later he brought me a teddy bear and apologized for his behavior. He tried explaining that he just had so much anger in him because he missed so much of my life. He was acting like he never snapped that night and beat the hell out of my mom and me. I can't believe this was the same man that I used to call daddy.

DAMON

I was looking at a picture of Saint on my phone when Joe came in. "Sir we think we got something, one of our contacts talked to some people who thought they saw a man and girl about her age walking into the woods in their town."

"Okay, how far away was it?"

 "Well, sir it was only 2 towns over." 

 I got up and started running, "well come on let's go!" I'm coming for you Saint just hold on. We arrived in the town where we were told someone saw them and started our search. I didn't think that he'd be out in the town so we started asking around about any cabins in the woods and we had no luck until one person gave us the hit we needed. There was an abandoned falling down, piece of shit in the woods that nobody would go to and I think that was our ticket so we were on our way.
